In 2009, the Soccer Mom Law went into effect; ALL vehicles under 10K pounds are required to have stability control. These are active shocks and struts controlled by a computer.
This came about from a law suite of a soccer mom that rolled her SUV due to aggressive driving.
Automotive and shop trade magazines coined the name Soccer Mom Law.

I’ll get back to you .... after I finish reading the old US Constitution, the document that limited the powers of the feral givernment to those enumerated therein. It must be in there ... somewhere ... and if it isn’t, no one will have standing to challenge it.

The AI will sense that, pull you back in line, at a “safe speed” and “proper distance” from the car you were trying to pass... unless it knows you are a Conservative, and it actively makes you crash head on. Heh.

Agree. Frequent travelers on two-lane highways know the challenges of passing tractors and other slow moving vehicles.
Basically, this is all about restricting mobility. One of the things the DemMarxists fear the most is mobility; they hate the fact that people can just willy nilly get in their auto’s and travel wherever they want.

Wow, I never heard that before. That wasn’t widely publicized. Federal regulation and control of vehicles has been growing and growing.
The lawyer that won the suite started suing all the trade magazines to no longer use the phrase Soccer Mom Law once the law passed.
Or the latest jumbo jet that announces: “There is no pilot on this aircraft. AI controls the flight controls for maximum speed when activating all the flight controls, radar, and altitude sensors. You are in the safest plane in the sky and nothing can go wrong...go wrong...go wrong...”
