Syria's ally Russia on Monday (Nov 27) condemned Israeli air strikes on Damascus International Airport, describing them as provocative and dangerous.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Sunday's strikes could aggravate tensions in the region, already inflamed by the Gaza war.

"We strongly condemn Israel’s latest provocative attack on an important Syrian civilian infrastructure facility," Zakharova said in a statement.

"We are convinced that such a vicious practice is fraught with extremely dangerous consequences, especially in the context of a sharp aggravation of the situation in the zone of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the resulting increase in regional tension."

The Syrian army and a pro-government newspaper said Sunday's Israeli air strikes put Damascus airport out of service and forced incoming flights to be diverted elsewhere.

“We see that even with all the significant help from NATO countries, the Ukrainians have not been able to move the front line during this year, this only confirms the fact that Russia cannot be underestimated,” NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg.

Of course they would condemn it.

They got bitched at by Iran, you know, the ones coughing up drones to Russia, who are very unhappy their armaments that were flying into Damascus on “civilian” airliners had to be routed elsewhere.

Russia, Iran and Hamas, all butt buddies. Throw in China and you see the Axis of Evil's founders.

Aaaand there’s the thoughtless, brainless, nonsensical, whataboutism response we’ve all come to expect from your ilk. Gads, your emptyheadedness is getting so predictable and boring.

Hear this: All the meddling, invading, warmongering Russian orcs must die. Violently. That’s the only way they can be taught to crawl back into their holes and leave their bloody, grubby fingers off of other countries.

Last week, Kadyrov was scolding Putin’s double for not visiting Chechnya, but visiting all of the other ex Soviet craphole-istans.

From the same article in Tass:

'Stoltenberg claimed that Russian industry was allegedly put into military mode and has "got significant amount of ammunition from North Korea." This "makes it hard for the Ukrainians to achieve the territorial gains we all hope for," the NATO secretary general continued. "But rest assured, I'm absolutely certain that the message from NATO allies at this meeting when we gather later at the Washington Summit is that we need to stand by Ukraine."

He believes that "it is in our [NATO’s] security interest that President Putin does not win."

Russia must be upset that it is harder from them to supply their clients like Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Syrian government.

Nobody else is buying their weapons now, so they need to keep whatever clients they do have.
