Go by a wind farm up by Alma every year over Labor Day weekend on the way to our flyfishing trip. It stretches for miles. Probably covers thousands of acres. There are never more than a third of the turbines turning. Not sure how they are producing enough power to run an industrialized state.

And where will that power come from when all the panels are snowed under?
MI should be cut off from the rest of the nationwide grid and made to cope — alone — with its choices.
