Don’t worry about it. We’ve got 50 million illegal alien refugees and a whole slew of Red Chinese soldiers ready to take over his job.

Of course we’re not supposed to judge people by their appearance, but most guys who wear bowties certainly look clownish. Like he’s trying to be different or draw attention to himself. (And his actions during the speaker debacle did not change my mind!)

I felt that way when Tucker used to wear them during his CNN days years ago. But in that case, I believe he actually was trying to draw attention to himself.

And, in the real world of paybacks are a bitch, what did he vote when it mattered?
Impeachment of Trump?
Impeach (process start) of Mayorkas?
Removal of the republic Long Island Rep?
Censor of Talib ?
Continuing Resolutin?
Removal of McCarthy?
Censor of MTG?

He did not vote to impeach Trump.

For his first 4 terms in Congress he was a solid conservative. Then he became a squish, which of course is a requirement if you want to be in or close to the House GOP leadership.

Patrick McHenry election results and ideology ratings

There was an abrupt change in his voting after 2012 (much more "moderate" than before).

Maybe he and McCarthy will ride off into the sunset together.

Patrick McHenry said I know not what others may say but as for me give me McRetirement and give me McPension. And a Big Mac meal would be McNice today, too.

"There was an abrupt change in his voting after 2012 (much more "moderate" than before)."

My personal opinion today is, that if a Republican isn't already a Rino when they're elected, if they stay in Congress long enough, they will become one.

That never would have happened if McCarthy had remained Speaker. McHenry took his revenge on Pelosi and Hoyer, because they had guaranteed that Democrats would vote for McCarthy. They didn't, and the rest is history.
