That is on my list of movies to watch before I die, along with The Wizard of Oz, possibly The Godfather, maybe The Sound of Music, I really mean to get around to Casablanca, and I think there are other ones people talk about.

Casablanca is the prototypical classic film. You have to watch it at least once. Maybe twice, as the plot is a bit convoluted. At least then you’ll understand a few recurring references on FR, like the whole “shocked” meme with Claude Rains.
Kind of like having to watch Spinal Tap so you understand where the whole “turn it up to eleven” thing came from.
