Americans are more optimistic about the future of Social Security than they have been in recent years, a new survey from Gallup found.

Among non-retirees, 50 percent expect Social Security to pay them a benefit when they retire, compared to 47 percent who do not think the system will help them.

The response from non-retirees is up from readings taken between 2005 and 2015, when majorities of non-retirees polled said they did not think that they would receive benefits from the system, Gallup found.

Current retirees believe they will continue to receive full benefits under Social Security.

U.S. Credit Rating Changed From ‘Stable’ To ‘Negative’ As National Debt Balloons Daily Wire, 11 November 2023

"Half of all American workers now make under $41,000 per year.

"That comes to $3,400 per month.

Biden’s media (the American “news” media) are doing a bang up job deluding young Americans with Dem talking points.

Nah, it’s the election season gearing up with their propaganda scheme to fool the gullible. But even the fools know it’s not true.

No way.. Trump is going to save it by paying people to have babies. He didn’t say if it’s just taxpayers or citizens. So we’re good here.

There’s a reason President Trump insists Social Security will be just fine. Under the new monetary system there will be plenty of funds for social security. I have heard individual benefits will be increased to $2500-$5,000 per month.

“There is absolutely no reason to be more optimistic”

Are you kidding? Our plentiful new residents who strolled in across the southern border are going to really goose our economy. Great things to come with huge productivity gains and economic growth ahead! All is rosy. Trust me on this.

“If this is the case people are really stupid.”

People ARE really stupid, and it’s by design.

Social Security is a sticky wicket for the political class. People don’t revolt until they have nothing to lose. Take away Social Security, and there will be a lot of folks in that category.

More than likely they will receive a benefit because no one congress has the courage to kill the program.

There is also that chance that the Deep State will kill off enough of the current retirees with the Jab that the SS system become solvent again.

But, if the future retirees do git a benefit it is likely to be minimal to the point of being meaningless, inflation having swallowed the value of the dollar.

We are all living in Venezuela and just don’t know it yet.

Is that before or after the chocolate ration is increased to 20 grams?

I’m afraid you’re right. I listen to Dan Bongino. He addresses this issue frequently. Even with the demographics of his audience he still must confront people who call him crazy, after all “I paid into the system 30 years…!” “The money will be waiting for me.”

Sorry Mr. or Mrs. Numscull your money has been stolen. Sooner you realize that the better off not only you would be but the entire American public. If people woke up to what their elected thieves have been doing, there would be a shortage of tar & feathers or worse.

THIS

Increase revenues or decrease expenses.

They chose the latter with the jab.

It used to be referred to as “the third rail”, but I’m not sure such a thing still exists in this depraved era of childish leaders and ignorant voters. The social security entitlement need only be modified for later ages and restrictive to only those who need it for food. (Thusly, it will no longer be an entitlement.) But what the hell do I know? The fed printing press is strong and rumor has it that 10,000 new illegals, per day, are all being given $5,000 gift cards.

yes and no....SS will still be paid, but won’t be worth much.

What a $1,500 SS payment buys now will cost $3,000 later....

Agreed, but there’s a twofer I never hear mentioned, the 50%+ dropout rate many, many communities see from their government school system. Those little gems and all the illegals are going to be the engines that drive the reassurance of the Social Security solvency. (insolvency!)
