I really don’t give a da$n anymore. You stupid Democrats want to become victims of a small cabal of environment nut cases, that is fine with me.
I’m old, I’ve got mine and you aren’t going to get “yours”, by your choice, who am I to stop you?
My total focus for the last several years has been to minimize the damage to my life and liberty from environmental nut cases, and their government AKA Democrat “Democracy”.
I used to live in a Republic, but that was swept away in the early 1960s.
EFF Democrats!

> Biden just pledged to shut down 60% of America’s electric power <

Demand that Americans switch to electric cars.
Demand that Americans switch to electric heating.
Demand that Americans switch to electric cooking.

Then shut down 60% of America’s electric power.

I don’t think it’s a bit funny. But this guy does.

first they went after coal...then oil...then gas. now methane etc. if only people would focus on this insanity:

30 Nov: UNFCC: Coal, Oil, and Gas are Fueling the Cost-of-Living Crisis. The COP28 Climate Conference Can see a Climate Action Surge
Op-ed from UN Climate Change Executive Secretary, Simon Stiell
Fossil fuels, including coal, oil, and gas are a major driver of the cost-of-living crisis, which is stretching billions of household budgets to breaking point...

At COP28 we can agree on tripling the world’s renewable energy capacity. We can double energy efficiency. We can show we are doubling finance to help countries adapt to climate impacts and center it in national planning. We can make the climate loss and damage fund a reality that helps deliver climate justice. And we can deliver old promises on financing the transition, and outline how we are going to fund the next steps...

I refuse to let fearmongering pull a hood over my eyes, and you shouldn’t either.

Lomborg is a global warming , yet...

1 Dec: Substack: Two New Studies Show How ‘Net Zero’ Fails The Cost-Benefit Test Miserably
WRITTEN BY BJORN LOMBORG ON NOV 30, 2023.
Mr. Lomborg is president of the Copenhagen Consensus, a visiting fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, and author of “Best Things First: The 12 Most Efficient Solutions for the World’s Poorest and our Global SDG Promises.” Read full post at WSJ (link)

In other words, each dollar spent will avoid less than 17 cents of climate damage. The total, undiscounted loss over the century is beyond ***$1,800 trillion.

For comparison, the global GDP last year was a little over $100 trillion. Although well-intentioned, current climate policy would end up destroying a sizable fraction of future prosperity...

Or...dems are like my friend’s sister..bring up any political or even nonpolitical, but something like Chinese “issues”...and she says she does NOT want to hear about it. She has lots of money, and wants to live in her world only.

Like I have been saying for a couple of years:

‘They’ want us to buy all electric appliances and vehicles....
But they have no intention of letting us actually use them for long.

Flip of a switch and they can make us starve and freeze in the dark, and no way to escape from wherever we are trapped unless we walk or ride a pedal bicycle.

In other news, the Hussein/Biden Regime has banned sunlight from reaching the Earth. The Sun is just too damn hot, and while the hot Sun has nothing to do with our Global Warming, Global Cooling, Climate Change, Climate Crisis Hoax, eliminating the Sun’s rays from reaching the Earth will go a long way in reaching the Regime’s ultimate goal of less humans walking the planet. When asked just how he would get the Sun to cooperate, or block the Sun’s rays if the Sun does not cooperate, all that could be discerned from Biden’s drooling sounded like.....C’mon, Man!

It states: “But methane is effectively a hydrocarbon that comes from natural gas.”

No, Natural gas is methane.

The “Climate Crisis” will be declared a national emergency and CO2 a medical emergency. We will be place under the UNs control. Evil times ahead.

I want the Dems to be out before the power goes out.

No real chance of that I guess.

All of these “wise leaders” are going to brainstorm to figure out a way to make the sun stop doing what it has been doing for the last 5 billion years by implementing various tax schemes and forcing us all to live like 15-century peasants.
