Could this up and coming new relationship announcement be military mutual defence treaties, i.e., if Israel or the US attack Iran, Russia would consider it an attack on sovereign Russian soil and respond with everything they have? Perhaps Russia is going to sell their oil through Iran and bypass any limited effect the Ukraine invasion sanctions are having upon that? (I know, oil is fungible and difficult to sanction when so many are willing to help Russia evade said sanctions....

You think that Russia is at war with about 55 nations globally because they lend various forms of aid to the nation that Russia is invading.
I think Russia and those 55 nations or so would disagree with your take.
You're being obtuse writing about "various forms of aid" when a large portion of that "aide" is war munitions for killing people. When you do that you are at war.
