A group of Republicans are looking to ban President Joe Biden’s administration from siphoning healthcare resources from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) away from military veterans to illegal aliens arriving at the United States-Mexico border.
The legislation, first reported by Fox News Digital’s Jamie Joseph and Adam Shaw, comes as Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has been accused of siphoning VA healthcare resources from military veterans to illegal aliens.
Last year, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas seemingly confirmed to Rep. Ashley Hinson (R-IA) that the agency was looking at using VA healthcare resources at the border.

Bost says he isn't getting answers from the biden admin, which likely means the VA is being used to provide care for illegals, not just act as a payment processor.
While actual veterans get crap treatment or none at all.
What is the loophole for someone who did not serve our country in the armed forces? Steal from somebody else’s fund silo. Not actual veterans and actual Americans who worked for decades to earn the quarters required.

Great. Just great. I’ve been waiting six months for the VA to do one simple thing and they screw it up. How are they going to take care of us, AND 11 - 30 MILLION illegals, some of whom I’ve probably come into very close contact with their cousins overseas who didn’t fair too well. Bullshit!t!
No wonder that it takes me 30-45 days to get an appointment for a ill fitting prosthetic.
Saw a fool on FB comment about “you need to check your facts, the money to treat these people is coming from the ICE budget not the VA budget, so it’s fine! Veterans will still get care…
I responded with stating illegal aliens have no business being treated by VA doctors, and all this does is add wait times for veterans for appointments and all procedures, hurried doctors won’t provide as good of care as they could, all that.
I’ve not received a response yet.

It usually takes me from 3-6 months to get an appointment that wasn’t already scheduled.
So Biden will use a different department.
Why would they HAVE to do this?
