The Republican Party of Florida suspended Chairman Christian Ziegler and demanded his resignation during an emergency meeting Sunday, adding to calls by Gov. Ron DeSantis and other top officials for him to step down as police investigate a rape accusation against him.
Ziegler is accused of raping a woman with whom he and his wife, Moms for Liberty co-founder Bridget Ziegler, had a prior consensual sexual relationship, according to police records.
“Christian Ziegler has engaged in conduct that renders him unfit for the office,” the party’s motion to censure Ziegler said, according to a document posted on the social media platform X by Lee County GOP Chairman Michael Thomason. Ziegler tried to defend himself during the closed-door meeting, but the party board quickly took the action against him, Thompson said.

I think it’s the insane sex drives of women which we as a society have deliberately spent dozens of years and millions of dollars to unleash and liberate, that have been the cause of the kinky sex shit we now see all around us. They are the most perverse of the two sexes by far. Appetites which cannot be satisfied without engaging in extreme perversion.

According to this article, Mr. Doofus said the meeting between him and the woman claiming to be a victim was consensual (but it doesn’t say consensual about what, exactly).
According to this, it appears that it is only the woman who claims to be the victim who says Bridgette Zeigler was going to be there but decided later not to show up for the meeting. It does not appear that Mr. Ziegler confirmed that claim that his wife was part of it, nor does the article have evidence that Bridgette even knew about the meeting.
“Police documents say” could just mean this is what the alleged victim says. The police would only be able to write down people’s statements and in this case the police report likely just has the alleged victim’s word for it.
I am curious as to how the alleged victim can claim that the activity was not consensual when by her own claims she was perfectly fine with having sex as part of a threesome which would include Mr. Zeigler. If Mrs. Ziegler isn’t around it is rape, but if Mr. AND Mrs. Ziegler had gotten in bed with the second woman together, as allegedly planned, then it wouldnt have been rape?

Many human actions have a program sequence. If I want to open a door I just have to think that - my hand reaches into my pants right side pocket, grabs my keys, selects the right key, inserts it, rotates it, has the other hand twist the handle, then the first hand extracts the key and returns the keys to my right side pants pocket.
Once the program sequence gets initiated, it will be completed.
In my youth Republican Party politicians were almost always upright citizens.

I think you are confusing / conflating "sex drive" with "sexual agency."
In his late teens and early 20s, a man's sex drive is roughly 17 times higher that that of a comparable female - but her sexual agency is (on average) a multiple of his.
Do you understand the distinction?
