The IRS hounded me for $120 in back taxes with 25% penalty for 2022. I can’t imagine the grief she will go through.
$5K is nothing to that part of the Biden family. She must have simply chosen not to pay those taxes because she didn’t feel like doing it. That same $5K, will accumulated late fees attached, could financially devastate many other Americans, especially if the demands for immediate payment were unexpected.
