Maine, like Alaska and the UP in Michigan, is about as fun-country as it gets.
The level of stupidity these people display is mind boggling.
How fast is your finger , Leroy ?
RINO.
A traitor to the people who elected him.
“rapidly fire.”
Deliberately subjective phrasing to allow for a wide parameter for the definition.
Now they can define “rapidly” as anything more than one round a minute for instance......so now they can ban ALL firearms.
BUMP
Stupid is the correct word. The non-existent “assault weapon” that is being demonized is nowhere near the deadly menace it has been sold by the left as being. Any semi-automatic shotgun is FAR more lethal. It doesn’t even have to be semi-automatic...a good pump action can be worked almost as fast. Now that they have worked the bugs out, the Keltec KSG dual-tube pump is one nasty weapon.
idiot congressman, but that may be redundant!
100,000+ ODs per year but ARs. Fidiot!
Maine Republican looking for a band wagon to get on to get some democrat votes and make pals with the party.
Time to issue muskets to all residents?
“Rapidly fire.” What the hell is that? My blackpowder flintlock rifle can fire about two rounds per minute, is that rapid fire? Just more bullsh!t symantics.
” Maine Republican Wants Limits on Guns Which Can ‘Rapidly Fire’”
That pretty much includes any semiautomatic weapon which by the way is what the Democrats call assault weapons.
Is a fully loaded cap and ball revolver rapid fire?
Jerry Miculiek would scare the boy to death...
While I completely oppose what this guy wants to do, I don’t think that most of you read even the part of the article posted here: the guy’s son died in the attack in October. If I were in Maine, I would fight his proposal, but still have some understanding of, and compassion for, what the guy is going through. Calling him an idiot, etc. may be accurate, but it certainly isn’t called for.

Joseph's father, Leroy Walker, echoed the sentiments of his grandson, calling
Joseph "a great son" and telling CBS 13 that his son "tried to save some more
lives, and he ended up losing life."
On his son losing his life to a rabid gunman:
Leroy doesn't hate the shooter, he hates the inanimate gun, animated by the
shooter.
So the guns killed his son all by themselves? No humans involved? Amazing!
Try gun laws out in Chicago first to test how effective they are.
There is only one reason a politician would take that position.
