You just stated EXACTLY why words are important, especially the term republic vs democracy.
Understanding the difference is vital. The reason so many people use the term democracy is they have no idea we are actually a republic.
I guarantee 9 out of 10 people under the age of 25 have no idea we are a republic and THAT is why it’s so important to use the correct terminology.

Yours is a noble cause for sure. Keep fighting the good fight! One that certainly carry’s more weight in this day and time.
If we don’t get that fixed, it really doesn’t matter if people call us a democracy OR a republic. We will be neither.
