“Flour is old”

How can you tell? Does it smell rancid?

Speaking of cookies, my neighbor made the most
delicious crunchy cookies and she told me it was the Toll House recipe but with all shortening and no butter. Apparently it’s the shortening that makes them crunchy.

I like how when I post something and then go back to the comments, I keep seeing that wonderful picture of Trump. I am glad you found it.

flour- It’s been in sons pantry opened since I’ve been here. I thought I bought new one but hadn’t. As I don’t do baking it was not a necessity. I bought a very small container that I use for gravies /roux

I’ll use that old flour n make something for the wild birds
