Pope Francis Dedicates January Prayer to ‘Diversity in the Church’

ROME — The Vatican announced Tuesday that Pope Francis has chosen “diversity in the Church” as his prayer intention for the month of January 2024.

“Diversity and unity were already very much present in the first Christian communities,” the pontiff remarked in his video announcing his prayer intention for January.

Diversity in the Church “is not something confusing or disturbing but is a gift God gives to the Christian community so it might grow as one body, the Body of Christ,” he added.

Diversity and unity are opposites for the same trait. If we are unified, we are not diverse. They want us to be unified as socialists and diverse as to skin color, but we can’t be unified as to skin color and diverse as to form of government.

This atypical, agnostic pope, when he talks diversity, means perversity. He wants Catholics to embrace perverts in their lives. Bergoglio rivals Martin Luther as the man who has done the most harm to the Church. Believers can only assume that the Church is being put through a terrible punishment and trial. If it survives and comes out of this trial, then it indeed has divine favor.
