“In his remarkable Foreword, Professor Michael Klarman implicitly makes the case for this decade of protests, riots, and strikes, and the demands that spring therefrom.16 The United States “is not a democracy.”17 Our political system is “dominate[d]” by “the wealthiest Americans”18 and “well-funded interest groups,”
And yet so much of this idiots demands are backed by precisely those who he claims dominate our political system. Which just goes to show the idiot for what he is - stupid.
A Soviet defector told us how it was going to be accomplished forty years ago.

In business it would be called a “greenfield” analysis. What you would build if there was as nothing there.
But not quite the same because this idiot starts with his preordained conclusion.
This is what passes for elite education in the United States of America in the 21st century.

Yes, it’s quite sad. It’s worth noting that the author does not use an economic term like socialism, capitalism, or even communism to describe the economy they desire. Instead they use the term “Democratic”. But we all know what the author means.

If we all just agree to become communists, all bad things go away. /s
What claptrap! Political ideology and worship of government power with intense religious fervor posing as rational thought and analysis. This author is dumber than a box of rocks.
Of course this came from Harvard. So, now Harvard is the equivalent of a community college - a badly run one.
