On Tuesday’s edition of NBC’s “Meet the Press Now,” Denver Mayor Mike Johnston stated that the sanctuary city will “hit a capacity at which we just won’t be able anymore to manage the amount of inflow” and “we’re hitting a breaking point at which there’s just not enough volume of work or housing in the city to support this ongoing volume,” and so they’ll have to consider turning away buses of migrants.
Host Garrett Haake asked, “[Y]ou’ve said you’ve not considered turning away any of these buses of migrants that are coming to your city. But is there a point at which that’s something Denver might have to do or it’s something you might have to consider?”

Guess sanctuary city doesn’t mean what the ‘mare’ thinks it means. Besides, in Denver, how could you tell. Same in Reno. How can we tell?

I’m sure that Denver followed some kind of “legal” process to declare themselves a sanctuary city.
Was it a vote of the people, vote of city council, dictate of the mayor, WHAT did they do? Whatever it was they need to FOLLOW PROCEDURE to reverse it and STOP WHINING like spoiled brats. My guess the declaration was “illegal” and now they are reaping their deserved spoils.

Denver had the 16th Street Mall. Nice place to walk and get lunch. That was 30 years ago. They legalized pot and drew in tens of thousands of homeless vagrants and teenaged runaways. The place is a sh*thole now.
Guess what? Texas is in the same CHIT boat as the early Colorado state! We are being overrun by Californians who have escaped their own communist policies they helped create! You should see how many Californian and surprisingly Florida(probably communist POS, escaping a red state)license plates I have come across here in the state of Texas. The whole sanctuary city scam was the Left’s way of defying President Trump when he was working to secure the border. Now that they’re in charge it’s “Never mind”. The new plan is to flood the red states with illegal invaders, but Abbot and DeSantis have upset that apple cart. Time for Plan B.
Yeah, now he wants a gated community so he can turn them away…..sounds like he wants a fence ….or a WALL.
