Pro-Palestinian demonstrators calling for a cease-fire in Gaza forced California lawmakers in the Assembly into recess on Wednesday. The session was then adjourned.
Lawmakers cleared the chamber as the demonstrators hung banners and chanted, KCRA 3’s Ashley Zavala reported.

Yes. Around Michigan people go to jail for attempting to pass out information about alternatives to abortions inside an abortion place. That is said to be obstructing the abortion rights of the women. A few months in jail is common sometimes even for being in the parking lots to talk to women about adoption. I heard a woman interviewed who read off the list of things that the cops had warned her about the previous year. She followed every item (stepping aside, staying out of the medical areas, keeping her voice low, etc.) but still got handcuffed and taken to jail.
