A sizable majority of women in this country want access to an abortion. Not saying they are planning on having one. Just knowing that they can, if desired. That’s the impact of an all-or-nothing abortion policy. I get it. For some, NO abortions should be allowed. Good luck convincing enough women to make a difference
The issue is not the availability/legality of abortions.
Of course it is an issue morally, as it should be.
The issue is whether or not the abortions are payed from US TAXPAYER FUNDS.
Because the ‘abortion clinics’ know if the TAXPAYERS fund it, they get paid.
If the jobless,homeless,irresponsible women who got pregnant have to pay the fees, the clinics know they WON”T get paid.
Many of these clinics are run by organized crime and they won’t tolerate not making huge profits.
IF it was all about whether it should be a RIGHT to get an abortion, why don’t INSURANCE COMPANIES include it in Health Plans ????
I’ve long said (only halfway tongue-in-cheek): “Free abortions for all card-carrying liberals and minorities; all others pay double”.
They don’t want to give up the legal power to murder a person, makes them extra special.
The real insanity of womens logic is that they would rather murder an unwanted baby than let others who want children, adopt that baby. Further the insanity of womens logic is by extension they’d rather live the rest of their life after murdering their own kid than adopt the kid out and not live with that weight on themselves.
In any case, the Government should not be funding or assist in funding abortions with taxpayer money, period.
This is what the dims will run on from now on.
