Biden Admin Vows To Hunt Down 'All' Jan. 6 Suspects - Even Those Who Weren't There That Day
Epoch Times ^ | 01/09/2024 | Tom Ozimek

Posted on 01/09/2024 9:44:26 PM PST by SeekAndFind

The Biden administration has pledged to continue to pursue and convict all people who broke the law in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol incident, including those who never entered the building or who weren’t even present at the U.S. Capitol that day.

Prosecutors have, to date, charged over 1,250 people with various crimes related to Jan. 6, ranging from being present on Capitol grounds without authorization, to assault of a police officer, to seditious conspiracy.

Former President Donald Trump has said on several occasions that he thinks Jan. 6 detainees are being mistreated by the Biden administration and has vowed to issue pardons for many of them.

President Trump rallied his base in Iowa on the eve of the Jan. 6 anniversary.

The J6 hostages, I call them. Nobody has been treated ever in history so badly as those people,” President Trump said at a rally in Iowa on the eve of the Jan. 6 anniversary, where he pledged to pardon a “large portion” of imprisoned Jan. 6 defendants.

President Joe Biden, by contrast, last week celebrated the jailing of Jan. 6 defendants in a speech to mark the third anniversary of the Capitol breach.

Collectively, to date, they have been sentenced to more than 840 years in prison,” he said.

“And what has Trump done? Instead of calling them ‘criminals,’ he’s called these ... insurrectionists ‘patriots.' And he promised to pardon them if he returns to office,” he added.

‘All Jan. 6 Perpetrators’ To Be Targeted

Off the campaign trail, the country’s top prosecutor has made clear that the DOJ under President Biden has no intention of letting Jan. 6 participants off easy—including those who weren’t even there that day.

“We have initiated prosecutions and secured convictions across a wide range of criminal conduct on January 6, as well as in the days and weeks leading up to the attack,” Attorney General Merrick Garland said in a speech on Friday.

Prosecutors have, to date, secured over 890 convictions in connection to the Jan. 6 incident, with Mr. Garland vowing to press ahead to cast the DOJ dragnet widely.

Our work continues,” he said. “As I said before, the Justice Department will hold all January 6 perpetrators, at any level, accountable under the law—whether they were present that day or were otherwise criminally responsible for the assault on our democracy.

“We are following the facts and the law, where they lead,” he added.

‘Prosecutorial Discretion’

Nearly two-thirds of the 890-plus convicted Jan. 6 participants have received some time in prison.

The longest prison sentence—22 years—was handed down to Enrique Tarrio, the former Proud Boys national chairman who was convicted of seditious conspiracy for allegedly plotting with others to forcibly prevent the transfer of power between then-President Trump and then-President-elect Joe Biden.

Dozens of Jan. 6 detainees are still languishing in jail awaiting trial three years after the Capitol incident.

Matt Graves, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia who is leading the ongoing Jan. 6 prosecutions alongside special counsel Jack Smith, said last week that the DOJ had so far focused its prosecutorial efforts mostly on those who entered the Capitol or took part in violent acts in and around the building.

“We have used our prosecutorial discretion to primarily focus on those who enter the building or those who engaged in violent or corrupt conduct on Capitol grounds,” Mr. Graves said.

But if a person knowingly entered a restricted area without authorization, they have already committed a federal crime,” he continued.

“Make no mistake, thousands of people occupied an area that they were not authorized to be present in,” he added.

In light of Mr. Garland’s remarks that the DOJ would continue to hunt down “all Jan. 6 perpetrators” whether or not they were at the Capitol that day, Mr. Graves’s statements reinforce the view that prosecutors intend to expand their dragnet to people who never entered the building—or weren’t even there that day.

‘Cast Their Net Far Too Broadly’

But while the Biden administration seems intent on broadening its hunt of Jan. 6 suspects, a former attorney general said he thinks things have already gone too far.

Bill Barr, who served as attorney general under President Trump, told Fox News in a recent interview that he believes some people involved in the Jan. 6 incident—like those who attacked police and broke into the Capitol building—deserve to be punished.

However, Mr. Barr said he believes the DOJ has already cast its Jan. 6 prosecutorial net too widely.

“There were people that should have been prosecuted,” Mr. Barr said. “But I think they cast their net far too broadly.”

He said the DOJ under President Biden “has been hounding people that really, you know, just walked into open doors in the Capitol and hung around.”

“I think they just took it too far,” he said. “But that being said, I don’t minimize what happened up there. While I don’t think it was an insurrection, it clearly was a shameful episode and some of the people involved should be prosecuted.”

Meanwhile, on the same day that the interview with Mr. Barr aired, the FBI announced that it had arrested three “January 6 fugitives,” individuals who were indicted for various alleged crimes committed three years ago at the U.S. Capitol, including assault and resisting arrest, but failed to show up at trial.

Anybody notice something?

Notice the number. 1200 charged so far, and that includes hundreds who stayed inside the velvet ropes and took phone pics.

Maybe 300-400 max who broke something or made trouble. Clay Higgins says 200 were Feds. So maybe 100-200 who made a ruckus. With no weapons.

I look forward to the day all the real insurrectionists in the biden and obama admin’s along with all those who helped perpetrate this false flag event are held accountable, each with a minimum charge of treason as they face those they’ve wronged.

Trump on January 6th:

So as an example, in Pennsylvania, or whatever, you have a Republican legislature, you have a Democrat mayor, and you have a lot of Democrats all over the place. They go to the legislature. The legislature laughs at them, says we’re not going to do that. They say, thank you very much and they go and make the changes themselves, they do it anyway. And that’s totally illegal. That’s totally illegal. You can’t do that.

In Pennsylvania, the Democrat secretary of state and the Democrat state Supreme Court justices illegally abolished the signature verification requirements just 11 days prior to the election.

So think of what they did. No longer is there signature verification. Oh, that’s OK. We want voter ID by the way. But no longer is there a signature verification. Eleven days before the election they say we don’t want it. You know why they don’t want to? Because they want to cheat. That’s the only reason.

Who would even think of that? We don’t want to verify a signature?

There were over 205,000 more ballots counted in Pennsylvania. Think of this, you had 205,000 more ballots than you had voters. That means you had two. Where did they come from? You know where they came from? Somebody’s imagination, whatever they needed.

So in Pennsylvania, you had 205,000 more votes than you had voters. And the number is actually much greater than that now. That was as of a week ago. And this is a mathematical impossibility unless you want to say it’s a total fraud.

So Pennsylvania was defrauded. Over 8,000 ballots in Pennsylvania were cast by people whose names and dates of birth match individuals who died in 2020 and prior to the election. Think of that. Dead people, lots of dead people, thousands. And some dead people actually requested an application. That bothers me even more.

Not only are they voting, they want an application to vote. One of them was 29 years ago, died. It’s incredible. Over 14,000 ballots were cast by out-of-state voters, so these are voters that don’t live in this state.

Trump continued:

In Wisconsin, corrupt Democrat-run cities deployed more than 500 illegal, unmanned, unsecured drop boxes, which collected a minimum of 91,000 unlawful votes. It was razor-thin, the loss. This one thing alone is much more than we would need. But there are many things.

In addition, over 170,000 absentee votes were counted in Wisconsin without a valid absentee ballot application. So they had a vote, but they had no application, and that’s illegal in Wisconsin. Meaning those votes were blatantly done in opposition to state law and they came 100% from Democrat areas such as Milwaukee and Madison, 100%.

In Madison, 17,000 votes were deposited in so-called human drop boxes. You know what that is, right? Where operatives stuff thousands of unsecured ballots into duffle bags on park benches across the city, in complete defiance of cease-and-desist letters from state legislature.

Your state legislatures said don’t do it. They’re the only ones that can approve it. They gave tens of thousands of votes. They came in in duffle bags. Where the hell did they come from?

According to eyewitness testimony, Postal Service workers in Wisconsin were also instructed to illegally backdate approximately 100,000 ballots. The margin of difference in Wisconsin was less than 20,000 votes. Each one of these things alone wins us the state. Great state. We love the state. We won the state.

Georgia

Fulton County, Georgia, the most populous county in the state, has no digital
record of all in person votes cast in its original results.

Not a single ballot purportedly cast during early in-person voting was witnessed
to and signed off by poll managers, as required by Georgia election rules. Seals
were broken and memory cards removed from tabulators for the results of these
315,000 votes, which were printed out on different machines than the ones that
tabulated them

The ballot images of these votes, along with the rest of in-person ballots cast on
Election Day, were destroyed

Fulton County did not count the same ballots during the original count and the
machine recount. There are 19,541 distinct ballots that appear in one machine
count but not the other

Thousands of fraudulent “presidential only” ballots were injected into the second
machine count, with huge margins favoring Joe Biden. Ballots that are blank
except for the presidential contest were counted in batches together, with the
pattern appearing in at least eight counties, including Fulton

Eighty-eight percent of Fulton County’s precincts reported a different total
number of votes between the first and second machine count

376,863 ballot images are missing from the first machine count, which includes
all in-person votes in Fulton County

235,000 absentee ballots were requested and accepted too early, prior to the
lawful date 180 days before the 2020 Election, which was May 6, 2020. These
votes should have never been counted in the 2020 Election

Fulton County certified 59,143 in-person votes on Election Day, despite the fact
that only 14,152 people had voted as of 5 p.m. on Nov. 3, 2020. Evidence
suggests the in-person vote total on Election Day was inflated by approximately
37,000 votes, as records show no rush to the polls during the final two hours of
voting, and a screenshot of the in-person Election Day results shared by a
government contractor showed only 21,843 people voted at the polls in Fulton
County on Nov. 3

There were over 364,000 ineligible voter registrations on the rolls during the
2020 Election and likely 67,284 votes were cast from voters with invalid
residency

59,000 of the 79,460 drop box ballots in Fulton County were not immediately
transported to the election registrar, in violation of State Election Board rules
An estimated 355,000 ballot transfer forms for drop box ballots are missing
statewide

The presence of a “QR code mismatch” error within the Dominion tabulators that
systematically undercounts votes was found in 65 out of 67 Georgia counties
where records were available.

The election results in Georgia in 2020 are not only unreliable, but were
electronically altered, and are unsupported by the state’s own election records.

The appearance of tens of thousands of unconfirmed ballots in subsequent hand
and machine counts suggest reconciliation happened after the Election, meaning
after it was clear what margins were needed to win

Trump Leading Biden by Twelve Points in Michigan,
After Biden “defended democracy” at Valley Forge
Gateway Pundit ^ | Jan. 9, 2024 | By Cassandra MacDonald
Posted on 1/9/2024, 10:39:32 PM by Kazan

Former President Donald Trump now leads Joe Biden by twelve points in Michigan. The Democrat took the battleground state in 2020 by a very narrow margin. The Detroit News and WDIV-TV released the new statewide poll on Tuesday. When given a list of Trump, Biden, and third-party candidates, Trump led Biden by 12 points.

“Trump’s lead over Biden widened to as much as 12 points when voters surveyed were given a list of third party candidates. Biden, the current president, and Trump, the former president, are widely expected to emerge this year as their parties’ nominees.”

In a hypothetical head-to-head match-up between just the current president and the former, 39 percent of likely general election voters said they prefer Biden, while 47 percent support Trump. The pollsters report, “47% of likely voters said they preferred the Republican, while 39% selected Biden, an 8-point advantage for Trump, according to the survey with a margin of error of plus or minus 4 points. In addition, 3% said they would vote for another candidate, and 11% said they were undecided.”

“If I were a Democrat in Michigan, I would be breaking the emergency fire alarms in the White House and demanding to know what the plan is for Michigan,” Richard Czuba, founder of Lansing-based Glengariff Group, which conducted the poll, told The Detroit News. “Because these numbers are very bad for any party incumbent.”

When asked if they believe Biden had performed well enough to deserve to be reelected, only 17 percent said he deserves another shot — 77 percent said that they were ready for a new leader. Asked the same question about Trump, 33 percent of the poll’s respondents said Trump deserves a second term, while 62 percent said they would prefer someone else.

The Detroit News reports: Three years into his first term, the survey found 29% of participants had a favorable impression of Biden but 58% had an unfavorable impression. The numbers demonstrated a significant drop in support for the Democrat, a former two-term vice president and longtime U.S. senator from Delaware. In September 2020, ahead of the November 2020 election, a similar poll of likely Michigan voters found 43% had a favorable impression of Biden.

Likewise, 50% of participants in the new survey said they “strongly” disapproved of the job Biden is doing as president. Another 11% said they somewhat disapprove for a total disapproval percentage of 61%. Only 35% said they approve of Biden’s performance, and 4% didn’t offer an answer.

“He is who he is. And that’s who he’s going to be. I can expect Trump to be Trump,” Bennario Chapman, a 29-year-old self-described independent from Muskegon who participated in the poll, told the pollsters. “And I can “go for somebody who stands in their own truth. Biden is not that.”
