New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu (R) said Wednesday that he would support the Republican nominee for president in 2024, even if that meant backing former President Trump as a hypothetical convicted felon.
In an interview with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, Sununu defended his position by pointing to voter sentiment on the issue and to what he views as President Biden’s poor performance.
Asked whether he would still support Trump if he’s a convicted felon and also the GOP nominee, Sununu said, “Look, I think, right now, most of America looks like they would, they would vote for him, because he’s winning — Biden is so bad that Trump is actually beating Biden in most polls. OK? So most of America is right there.”

And remember folks, nothing says “saving our democracy” like jailing your political opponents.
Sununu saying this provides a bit of insight. He in no way needed to go so far in declaring his intent to vote for him even if convicted.
IMHO this means the “élite” are utterly terrified and see the likely writing on the wall, Trump is becoming a juggernaut.
If Trump is convicted???
We will find that out shortly, but it is all an unfunny cartoon. I can’t imagine that freak of a judge to back down.
The Sununu family absolutely hates President Trump. They are devotees of G H W Bush’s New World Order, which is globalism and bowing down to their new god, China. Anything that might knock globalism off the tracks, or interfere with the China trade is considered the enemy, and that would include Trump’s MAGA movement.
This is a chasm that cannot be bridged. You can’t favor both, you have to choose, and the Sununus have chosen the anti MAGA globalism of Bush 41.
The Sununus are not to be trusted to keep their word. Twenty years ago they forced out a solid conservative from the US Senate, Bob Smith. The policies that Smith supported were very much like MAGA, before MAGA started. They ran is disreputable primary against Smith back in ‘02 in order to get number one son John E Sununu the seat, which he promptly lost to a democrat 6 years later, and never to be heard from again.
The Sununu globalists have a stranglehold on the GOP in New Hampshire, and have worked tirelessly to stop Donald Trump’s campaign. They’re hoping for an upset in NH by having their globalist darling Nikki Haley win the New Hampshire Primary, which they will then try to say that Trump is finished and should drop out.
This same Chris Sununu was on Fox News a year ago, loudly berating Trump and stating very emphatically that there was no way Trump would get the nomination for 2024. The Fox host chuckled and then reminded Chris that his father had said the exact same thing about Trump back in 2016.
Folks across the country think of New Hampshire as a conservative state, but it isn’t. RINO moderates run the GOP, and have publicly supported democrats over conservative republicans in state elections.
Not trustworthy or credible.

Sunnunu must be having serious problems with his dementia.
