This year, 2024, marks the 60th anniversary of the signing into law of the landmark 1964 Civil Rights Act.
Soon we observe the national day set aside to note and honor the leader of the movement that led to that act becoming law: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
We must ask how, after 60 years, with vast changes in the world, with developments in technology unimaginable 60 years ago, that we remain obsessed with race. How is it that claims of racism, injustice and unfairness persist like nothing happened?
Indeed, data suggest that Black Americans, on average, still lag behind economically.
The Federal Reserve recently published its Survey of Consumer Finances showing that average Black family income is 43% that of White families. In 1989, it was 42%.
Average Black household net worth now is 15.6% that of White households. In 1989, it was 17.8%.
The deterioration of traditional religious values in the country has taken a toll on all American families, but proportionally more on Black familie

The vast majority of Americans are slaves, financially.
They just had to make ‘The Plantation’ more subtle and virtual.
It was a noble experiment.
Yes.
Financially and Mentally.

Median household net worth would be a better measure.
It would be stupid for a low-income black household to have $4000 in the bank and lose out on $4000/year in SNAP benefits.
Millions of black households know how to take advantage of the welfare system.
Sending auto industry jobs to Mexico has badly hurt black male adults in the Midwest.
Too many blacks opted for what they saw as the easy way out.
The Civil Rights Act turned ordinary Americans into second class citizens. It’s the reason normal straight people have to bake wedding cakes for faggots or feel the heavy boot of the State. An abortion of ‘the law’. Lyndon Johnson was far worse than Obama.
It was a bait and switch from day one.
It didn’t work because it abrogates the privileges and immunities clause of the Constitution AND Amendment XIV, and since you cannot amend the Constitution by legislation, it’s void on its face.
Now compare the number of adults in those households.
I suspect that what happened is that the radical left managed to gain control of the civil rights movement.
