There has been an alarming amount of cardiovascular-related deaths — reversing a 10-year downward trend — in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Northwestern University.
“We were concerned about the emerging evidence that chronic disease outcomes worsened during the first two years of the COVID-19 pandemic,” Rebecca C. Woodruff
“This was unfortunately the case with heart disease and stroke, which had been improving before the pandemic.”
Researchers observed that the span of cardiovascular (CVD) deaths between 2020 and 2022 had increased trend expectations by 228,000 across all demographics.
That two-year period saw a 9.3% increase, a stark contrast from the 8.9% decline from 2010 to 2019.
Woodruff and her organization blamed “the magnitude of the setbacks” brought on by COVID as the culprit.

Woodruff said that COVID-19 also acted as a disruptor of healthcare access for many, which delayed addressing chronic or acute heart issues.
COVID-19 also made it more challenging for many to eat and sleep well, be active and manage health facets like blood pressure and blood sugar.
And worst of all, new evidence is pointing to a connection between contracting COVID-19 and developing an increased risk for heart disease, according to the CDC.
“Research to understand the drivers of these increases in CVD mortality rates can help guide clinical and public health approaches to prevent, detect, and treat CVD,” added Woodruff.

Per the cdc during that period, everyone who died in 2020-21, died from China Virus 2019…nothing else.
There was daily reporting of the body counts.

This is a bs excuse. The 2 women I know who died of pulmonary embolisms had no prior cardiovascular risks that needed to be monitored. Both cases just happened out of the blue to otherwise mostly healthy and active women.
Slow Joe has an executive order for that opinion. If you have anything to deal with federal dollars you must take the VidVax. Pay taxes - must take it, recipient of govt funds (ie SS mediscare)must take the VidVax ….

Since you are a “Journalist” (a journalist for crying out loud) you must know there are doctors and scientist who disagree and would love not to be censored so their voices could be heard.
The youngest ages I have seen for heart attacks from the vax is 15 months, 2 years, and 3 years.
Viral infection and cardiovascular deaths go hand in hand. In fact cardiovascular deaths peak during flu season. Happens every year. You can’t write an attention grabbing headline for it to feed the conspiracy kooks so it doesn’t make the conspiracy blogs. The kooks crave stories that tell them the Covid vaccine is killing people so that’s what they are told.

This is yet another reason why the rush and push to mass vaccination was a bad idea. There is only a small placebo group from which to compare and contrast outcomes.

I don’t remember the name, but we had a FReeper here asking for prayers for his grandson, age 6 (if memory serves), who’d had a heart attack. He had been air lifted to a Children’s Hospital, .... Sadly, it’s not uncommon anymore.
That’s what I think, too.
