Sen. John Barrasso’s (R-WY) wife has passed away following a two-year battle with brain cancer.
Barrasso, who is the chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, announced Thursday that his wife, Bobbi, died after fighting glioblastoma, a type of cancer that causes brain tumors.
“After a courageous battle with cancer, Bobbi is now at peace and at home with the Lord,” the senator said in a statement obtained by Fox News:
In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Bobbi was a leader, fierce advocate for Wyoming, and friend to everyone she met. We miss her dearly. On behalf of our entire family, we thank everyone for your prayers and continued support as we remember her and grieve together.

My best friend died of Glioblastoma after surgery and many radiation treatments He left behind a beautiful wife and two young teenage children
The suffering of the family was equal if not greater than that of my friend.
God give strength to this woman’s family.

That’s the cancer Mrs. Dutch boy was diagnosed with 31 months ago. The tumor was massive, 2.7in×1.7in×1.5in. She had the standard treatment of resection, 30 rounds of radiation and 72 rounds of Temodar chemo. I also gave her 222mg of human grade fenbendazole daily. She has been cancer free for over 2 years now. The average life expectancy is about 15 months.
Losing your wife to cancer is a long winter in the soul.
Praying for the Senator to find his footing, in time.

We’ve had a similar battle in our house. Even four years later it weighs on our life’s every day.

That is great, great news and so glad to hear that glioblastoma isn’t winning with your wife. I lost my niece, my cousin’s husband and a good friend to glioblastoma none lived beyond 16 months. All have been years ago and hoping new treatment is making a difference! Prayers up!
Wow, Dutch Boy, I’m sorry for what you and your wife went through, but happy to hear she has moved past it. God bless you both and may He heal all the aftereffects.
Amazing. I am sorry you and your wife had to go through the medieval ordeal of all that treatment but happy for you that it worked. 53 yrs ago my mother went through surgery and chemo but died in 18 months. I periodically read articles about this cancer noting treatment remains elusive. God has pleased you with life

I mention my wife’s fenbendazole experience so others my also try and possibly be helped. Glioblastoma is basically a death sentence. Anything that may extend life and improve quality of life should be shared when possible.
