Reason #374 why I have not entered into or consumed a Starbucks product in 10+ years
Reason #1 is SUGAR, the rest are corporate wokeness.
There never were and never will be morals in a “woke” company. Oh well, their burnt coffee isn’t too awfully bad.
Sue them for unsafe workplace and finish your school with the money
“Many of them, the aspiring EMT said, were crying in fear.”
Sounds about right for your typical Starbucks customer.
- Liberal Corporations aren't worth working for or dying for......
Hey, I guess if the employees just stand there during a robbery, don’t oppose them in any way and gets wounded the company must be liable for $10 mega millions .
Corporations employ workers, and from what I have seen, the first instinct of any corporation is to throw their employees to the wolves. No loyalty. You are disposable. They don’t care about you. Why should they? One slip and they just can’t wait to screw you over.
But they do demand a whole lot of loyalty from the worker. Hey, they sign the paycheck don’t they, you stupid little peasant!
The employee is too macho to work at Starbucks. Another reason I never darken Starbucks’ door.
Never had their overpriced coffee and certainly never will.
Everytime I see a Jordan Peterson youtube video and his link pops up “Buy me a coffee”, I’m so put off I won’t give him a dime even though I love what he represents.
I avoid Starbucks like the plague.
Starbucks is great at selling everything else, except great coffee or giving you good value.
They sell convenience (located everywhere), brand loyalty and recognition, a coffee shop style atmosphere, and since they chase the fad of the day they are always on board with whatever social or environmental cause there is (some people actually believe in these “causes”).
Starbucks has obviously been paying Google lately (many of the negative reports have been pushed away), and they have flooded the search engines with what is basically advertising. But if you look at actual “real” independent taste tests (average people and coffee experts), Starbucks actually scores amazing low.
I just go to an old school diner where the coffee is good. Cheaper, better, free refills, no standing in lines and they bring the coffee to you.
Hope the future Paramedic SUES the LIVIN' $HIT out of StarClucks! They'll NEVER get a DIME of my money!
