WAYCROSS, Ga. — Three Georgia soldiers have been identified as the three United States service members killed in a drone attack in Jordan near the border with Syria on Sunday.
The Department of Defense has identified the soldiers as Sgt. William Jerome Rivers, 46, of Carrollton, Spc. Kennedy Ladon Sanders, 24, of Waycross, and Spc. Breonna Alexsondria Moffett, 23, of Savannah.
All three were stationed at Fort Moore.
The attack on Sunday killed two other service members along with Sanders and wounded at least 34 others.
The Associated Press reported that of the wounded, most had cuts, bruises, brain injuries and other injuries. Eight had to be medically evacuated with one service member in critical but stable condition.

The outskirts of Waycross is a nice area in which to live. Laid back, rural, and the cost of living is relatively cheap.
Doesn’t answer the questions of WHY are they there BUT there have been bases in Jordan for years.
I served with an officer who was stationed as an attache at the embassy in Jerusalem 10 years ago. He crossed the Allenby bridge border crossing to Jordan so often during his tour here that the border agents knew him.

Choice 1. Remove our soldiers as sitting ducks that can not respond with overwhelming deadly force and then suffer the consequences of Biden weakness.
Choice 2. Destroy Kharg Island from which 85% of Iranian oil exports flow and thus destroy their economy in one day. Kharg Island is one of the most vulnerable and easy targets to hit. About 50 oil tanks with millions of gallons of crude oil. It is easy. Drop leaflets that say, “Kharg Island will be an inferno in 24 hours and you must leave or you will die.” Actually give them 3 days as it looks better politically.
3. Call the Mullahs and say, “I do not have a problem, you have a problem.”
