I flew United in the second week of January and it was a disaster. United is a garbage airline.
The problem is, they all are. US domestic airlines are uniformly terrible in terms of service, comfort, on-time departure, everything. The only question is which had the most recent disaster and should therefore be avoided until things quiet down.

I fly United 60 times per year and would prefer they not discriminate and hire the most qualified people for the tasks required.
