The Wall Street Journal did everyone a service Friday by publishing an op-ed entitled “Welcome to Dearborn, America’s Jihad Capital: Imams and politicians in the Michigan city side with Hamas against Israel and Iran against the U.S.” This was an eyebrow-raising exposition by Steven Stalinsky of the indispensable Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) of how numerous Islamic leaders and other public figures in Dearborn have openly supported Hamas, which the State Department still officially considers to be a jihad terror group. Instead, however, of concern about open support for terror in Dearborn, the article has given rise to concerns — expressed even by the Biden regime — about “Islamophobia.”
The whole incident has been an illustration of how stigmatized honest discussion about the jihad threat has become in the U.S. today, after well over twenty years of relentless propaganda from government and law enforcement officials, as well as from the establishment media, about how such discussion is an unacceptable manifestation of hate. Stalinsky himself, after the firestorm began, was put into the unenviable position of having to insist, “Nothing in my article was written to instigate any sort of hate.”
Indeed, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t any hate in the article. It was just all coming from the other side. Stalinsky’s article notes that “a local headline describing an Oct. 10 event at the Ford Performing Arts Center read ‘Michigan rally cheers Hamas attack.’” He shows Imam Imran Salha of the Islamic Center of Detroit in Dearborn calling for the “demise” of Israel, which, if it ever happened, would result in the murders of millions of Israelis.

First off, opposition to something is not a *phobia*.
Second, considering what islam has proved itself to be, a fear of it is not an unexpected response.
Local media went postal over the editorial. Dearborn even brought in extra cops to “protect the city from backlash against them caused by the racist editorial”. Just ridiculous.
There is no way to coexist.
Exposing the truth is considered islamophobic. The worse the jihad, the more they shout, “Islamophobia.”
MEMRI videos have been invaluable in exposing the support for Islamic terrorism in many U.S. mosques and by Islamist politicians, including in Dearbornistan, especially after the Hamas invasion and atrocities of Oct 7. And Salinsky describes some of what went on.

In Dearborn pro-Hamas demonstrators openly celebrated October 7.
US Jewish population is listed as 2.4% of adults. US Muslim population is listed as 1.1% of total US population (this is not delineated as adults).
Muslim birthrate is far above other groups, so there will be many children in that count, somewhat corrupting the comparison.
Outlawing Islam would be a violation of freedom of Religion.
Ford Powertrain’s engineering headquarters was in Dearborn when I was still working. (Is it still?) Had to go there for meetings on the order of once a month when we had a big project working. Blocks after block without a single sign in English. That was nearly 20 years ago. Even then the Arabs ran every gas station for forty miles around, even out in rural areas where I lived. Fled to Ohio when I retired.
The religion is just a beard for the political agenda of Islam.

In fact, Islam is more of an ideology than a religion.
The concepts of Taqiya where one can and should lie to advance the spread of Islam are clearly at odds with Judeo-Christian ethics.
