I thought he had some sort of position within this
administration. He just stepped down recently.

So what he is doing has pretty much been sanctioned by this
administration. If he was private sector doing all this,
he would have been toast on this charge.
It does appear January and February activity might be
problematic, if he’s just a private sector citizen.
I honestly think the guy has been about as anti-US as he
could be for most of his life. That pretty much seems
the norm for Leftists in our nation though.

Ironically a lot of those accusations of treason are far less compelling than Kerry’s self-admitted participation in an unauthorized peace negotiation or the Logan Act violations described in the article you posted.
I would applaud these efforts if any pinko ever paid the price. It never happens and is always simply red meat for the indoctrinated. It serves only to divide. The criminals never suffer penalties for their wrongdoing.
