The Israeli Defense Forces say they have discovered a tunnel network that runs partly under UNRWA's Gaza headquarters.
According to Reuters, the IDF says that this is evidence that Hamas has been exploiting the main relief agency for Palestinians amid the war.
Last month, Israel initially accused 12 U.N. Relief and Works Agency staffers of participating in the Oct. 7 massacre.
In response, multiple countries, including the United States, cut funding to UNRWA, at least temporarily.
The IDF reports that the tunnel is 700 metres long with side rooms and an office space.
“Everything is conducted from here," an IDF lieutenant-colonel said, according to Reuters. "All the energy for the tunnels, which you walked through them are powered from here."
"This is one of the central commands of the intelligence. This place is one of the Hamas intelligence units, where they commanded most of the combat," he also said about the tunnels.
UNRWA has been "unable to confirm or otherwise comment" on the Israeli finding.

I got my first exposure to politics at home, because of family friend who was an Assistant to the Texas Attorney General in several administrations.
But the first election that I was really aware on the national level was Goldwater’s campaign.
He was pretty popular in Texas, when Texas was 100% Democrat (fiscal conservative democrats).
We even discussed it in my history/civics class then, in the public schools.
Barry was way before his time. But the media even then HATED him.
Gaza alone are near 3 million and 80% of the citizens are loyal supporters of Hamas.
They must be defeated and their hate must be ground into nothing and blown by the 4 winds.

UN has control of building above Gaza Hamas headquarters.
The U.N. building in NYC could be repurposed as a fantastic homeless shelter.
Take it out.
So EVERYTHING, every bit of money, aid, supplies, support, etc. gets to UNWRA and then turned over to Hamas. UNWRA should bethrown out of the country.

At 20 and 1/2, I was too young to vote for him. I attended a Nixon college rally and asked for a poster. The Goldwater poster was displayed one dormitory floor above a Lyndon Johnson poster which had irked me for weeks! I heard encouraging chuckles from the parking lot below.
One day later, returning from class, I saw the Lyndon Johnson poster had been taken down. Vacuously, I returned to my dorm room to study. Answering a knock on my door I was accosted by two “dormitory monitors”:
“Take down that political poster, or you’ll be kicked out of this dormitory”.

All UN Money went to building the tunnel city in which Hamas is being extracted, foot by foot. and then there are Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Both paid large blackmail sums to keep the Pali trash out of their countries. Maybe it was all their money that went to build the tunnelsrather than the UN refugee money.
