Having a military record doesn't resonate like it used to. I served four years in the early 1980s but I don't even mention it much anymore. I don't think my current employer even knows that I served (and they probably wouldn't care either way).

Besides, you make an excellent point that Trump never deployed our troops carelessly during his time in office and never started any new wars.

That’s exactly what scares the Neo-Cons. If you’re not playing with army-men every night before you go to sleep, then they don’t want you in the Oval Office.
