I tried googling street gangs in Kansas City. Apparently KC is ‘blessed’ with several. Scott Adams is right, it is best to avoid areas where lots of ‘them’ are likely to be.

It’s interesting that street gangs are not considered potential ‘domestic terrorists’ yet parents complaining at school board meetings and Catholics favoring the Latin mass are.

My immediate thought as well: gang bangers. Too common with some communities whose teams win a sport’s championship. One of my favorite things about San Antonio is that we celebrate when the Spurs win, we don’t go on rampages.

I remember what one cop said back in the early 1960s when such a thing happened and refused to investigate. It was in an article in either LIFE or LOOK magazine about why police would not go into that section of town to investigate crimes.
