More Kremlin propaganda! Ukraine is strong! Ukraine is winning!
CNN is a Putin mouthpiece
I thought you said it was the Russians fighting with shovels?
That may be true, but it sounds like a line straight out of the WH press corp which would be followed by verbiage saying how terrible it is the House had taken a recess when they were needed most.
It’s Trump and the MAGA Republicans’ fault according to Pedo Pete.
Russian reservists have described fighting in Ukraine with shovels whose design has remained largely unchanged since 1869.
This week it was announced that both Germany and France signed defense agreements with Ukraine in what is being called a “mini NATO. Both Germany and France announced that they will be sending munitions and other aid to Ukraine. OK. Ukraine is no doubt the aggrieved party and it was wrong for Russia to attack to try to reclaim what they call “Russified” eastern Ukraine. Clearly this carnage, maiming and killing is tragic.
However when foreign entities such as the US, Germany, Britain, France and others send munitions that end up killing Russians, should anyone be suprised if Russia considers that a hostile action and takes direct action against those countries? What if Russia launched missile attacks against French and German munition factories? Would this be an attack on “mini NATO” and would the US be required to join in the retaliation?

You’re joking right? That’s sarcasm?

Ukraine’s export-oriented arms industry had reached the status of world’s 4th largest arms exporter in 2012
Ukraine’s defense industry was a major part of the Soviet defense industry, responsible for 17% of Soviet defense production and 25% of its scientific research. Some Soviet ICBMs were actually built at the Yuzhmash plant in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro. Russia’s only aircraft carrier was also built in the Ukrainian SSR, as well as a number of other Russian military ships.
At the time Ukraine declared independence in 1991, the country had 1,840 defense enterprises and research centers that employed close to 2.7 million people

Just like it was “all over” for the Allies when they evacuated Dunkirk
Lol, shovels? What groundbreaking advances have been made in shovel design since 1869?
Facts are no amount of money can solve the artillery shell shortages in the West….if they start building plants, maybe, just maybe they can resupply depleted stocks in two- three years….maybe we can pay Vlad for some?
Ditto with the Ukie manpower shortages. It takes billions $$$ to equip men with uniforms, field gear, shelter, housing, weapons, commo, etc…before they are even deployed….and Vlad says Checkmate, again.
One (at least in US shovels) was the modification to allow the spade head to be bent 90 degrees so the shovel could be used as a sharp sort of mattock. Had a locking ring that slid back and allowed it to be locked into that position....My dad was issued one in the late 1950s IIRC..
And to think, they never even sent me a postcard from the place. Ingrates.
An ‘unlucky’ Russian politician today....
How did Russians with shovels rout Ukraine's best in Avdiivka?
