Presidents Day: 5 Presidents Who Warned Against Mass Immigration
Breitbart ^ | 02/19/2024 | JOHN BINDER

While presidents have long had disagreements on national policy, many agreed that unchecked immigration to the United States ultimately hurts Americans and those legal immigrants who have already arrived.

Five presidents, in particular, have famously warned against mass immigration to the United States — despite their differences on a variety of other issues.

In the early 1920s, President Calvin Coolidge (R) drastically reduced annual legal immigration levels to the United States, stabilizing the nation’s population following decades of record-high immigration.

Coolidge, in a December 1923 address, said immigration levels must not exceed the ability of Americans to absorb new arrivals and that “America must be kept American.”

These Marxist clowns are responsible for the terrorism and wars going on. They released billions of dollars to Iran for them to arm terrorists and the war with Israel, Biden signed off on the pipeline for Russia to transport fuel to Europe providing billions to Putin to make up for the funding to start his war with Ukraine. All of this is the gratitude they have given the American people and their destruction.

Each Mayor ought to have an official choice to declare “The Martha’s Vineyard Effect”.

The key difference between a refugee and an immigrant is that a refugee is seeking (temporary) asylum while an immigrant wishes to adopt another country as their permanent home and assume a new national identity for themselves and their progeny. The US has a long history of accommodating both classes at levels far beyond those offered by any other country on Earth.

But there are limits on our capacity to absorb non-indigenous population and both of these categories are privileges, not rights. We've completely lost sight of these distinctions and limits in the debate.

Refugees need to go to the next country over, or as close to that as can happen.

Refugee should not mean moving to the white world’s greatest cities.

It’s not immigration. It’s an invasion. There’s a difference most pundits refuse to see.

Right on.

everyone seems to have forgotten Castro’s “People Bullets” - where Cuba cleaned out the prisons and asylums to send them to the US via the Cuban Boatlift of 1980.

This also killed any chance of Carter’s reelection.

And we have learned nothing from this.
