Gov. Kathy Hochul lets the cat out of the bag about how politicized New York's prosecution of Trump was

Following the monstrous $355 million fine leveled against President Trump and his associates for a victimless claim of inflating assets in New York City, New York's governor, Kathy Hochul, assured concerned investors that they have "nothing to worry about."

According to The Hill:

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) addressed New York business owners in a new interview and told them there was “nothing to worry about” after former President Trump was hit with a $355 million fine and a ban on conducting business in New York for three years.

Hochul joined John Catsimatidis on “The Cats Roundtable” on WABC 770 AM, where she was asked if other New York businesspeople should be worried that if “they can do that to the former president, they can do that to anybody.”

“I think that this is really an extraordinary, unusual circumstance that the law-abiding and rule-following New Yorkers who are business people have nothing to worry about, because they’re very different than Donald Trump and his behavior,” Hochul responded.

If that response was meant to assure, it did the opposite.

Trump was handed a monstrous fine from a prosecutor rabidly against President Trump politically, a woman so biased she ran for office on pinning something on Trump, which is illegal, teamed with a sneering, grotesquely biased, judge with many conflicts of interest including potential family profits who made it clear all through his courtroom sessions that he intended to destroy Trump.

The fine was grotesquely out of proportion to an utterly victimless "crime" of supposedly inflating assets, while witnesses testified that nobody lost money, loans were paid in full, and banks were happy to lend again. The judge himself, a man of no training in the matter, made the assessments of the values Trump's properties, such as Trump's Mar-a-Lago

As though the whole Leftist Democrat Crime Family hasn’t targeted Trump from before 2016.

A bill of attainder, also known as an act of attainder, writ of attainder, or bill of penalties, is a legislative act that declares a person or group of people guilty of a crime and punishes them, often without a trial. Such a bill nullifies the targeted person’s civil rights, including the right to own property, the right to a title of nobility, and, in at least the original usage, the right to life itself.

Could the Governor issue a pardon? It would definitely help the state’s image . It is such an obvious abuse of power it might even be worth it to her to demonstrate she can be fair minded.

IMHO, Donald J. Trump should personally drive to, park at, and enter the United States Supreme Court building.

There, ask for the clerk.

Leave the following message, written in his own hand:

“Honorable Justices,

I am being persecuted by multiple actions taken by the federal and state governments, that, said acts amount to attainders of my self.

Those attainders are sometimes referred to as ‘lawfare’ - the use of government funds in order to destroy a specific person by weight of prejudicial government, out from under which, a person cannot find relief.

Such acts are un-Constitutional as, in effect, bills of attainder. No American citizen should be so burdened.

I request relief.”

Trump should skip the Democrat appeals court and go directly to SCOTUS. The NY legal system is hopelessly corrupt.

They all need to be worried...very worried.
Yes, if they can do this to DJT, they can do it to anyone.
Best bet is to leave NYC and NY State ASAP. Relocate to safer business climate.
Should be fun to watch NYC devolve into the rat infested sludge farm it should be.

So, Judge corpse fabricated his own evidence to be used at the Trump trial, the case being in his own court, after making it clear he was severely biased against PDJT?

I smell prog BS from that all the way here to Dallas.

Sane people from either side see judge corpse for the complete nutcase that he is.

“It is such an obvious abuse of power it might even be worth it to her to demonstrate she can be fair minded.”

I think there was an honest Democrat once, maybe two. Truman was honest and fair. Carter was honest, but incredibly naive. Beyond those two, I can’t recall any. Daniel Patric Moynahan? He’s famous for saying, “politics is all about who gets how much and when.” At least he was honest.

Landlords in particular after Peekaboo James new 2019 laws for landlords. We have a friend who moved to NC who is trying to sell his last few rental properties in upstate NY.
He doesn’t screen very well and his tenants, who are a protected class, owe him 3 months rent at least
They know they have the upper hand and are in no hurry to move out.

We have rentals as well and a biz, family etc here in upstate so it’s frightening to think how fast the whole thing can devolve.

Hochul was my Congress critter a while back - she wasn't great, but not awful, either. But she has been terrible as governor, and these comments just underline that she is a typical authoritarian Democrat. No GOP business owner should be feeling good about doing business in this worthless state (DemocRat business people have nothing to worry about, though). NY is no longer an American state.

Zell Miller and Sam Nunn are two I mention from time to time.

Harry Truman was a good and honest man. I read a biography on him. WW 1 veteran also. Made him a good President to be the commander in Chief at the end of WW 2.

That should be enough to dismiss the case - with prejudice - but I won’t hold my breath.

She needs to be egged on so that it becomes to look like aa bill of attainder against Trump. She should be prodded more. Someone like Maria Barteromo could deftly so it. Cats is too up front.
