Trump could be pardoned by Biden before he takes office. Admittedly, that’s a far-fetched scenario, but Biden is old-fashioned enough to put the country ahead of his own bitter feelings after a loss.
There’s also the possibility that Trump could take the oath of office and then pardon himself. The president’s power to pardon is nearly unlimited and there would be nothing to stop Trump from making the left’s heads go into orbit by issuing himself a pardon.
[but Biden is old-fashioned enough to put the country ahead of his own bitter feelings after a loss.]
Uhh.......did you forget the /s tag?
There’s also the possibility that Trump will inform the illegal aliens he brought here that it’s Biden’s fault they are all being deported. And here is where he lives.
Joe Biden has been a nasty, vindictive little bitch from before the beginning of his political career. Joe Biden was an architect of the "high tech lynching" of Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas. You really think that petty little turd Biden would pardon President-elect Trump?
He’s facing state charges in Georgia, if that charade continues. The governor of Georgia is currently a Republican and could pardon him, of course. Presumably he could pardon himself if convicted on Federal Charges. And why not?
Biden is fool. If he convicts Trump there is absolutely nothing preventing Trump for indicting and trying Biden in Texas or Mississippi for manifold corruption charges, and make it stick.
>> Biden is old-fashioned enough to put the country ahead of his own bitter feelings after a loss.
LOLOL! ROFLMAO. My goodness, you’re naive. Or blind. Or both.
“Trump could be pardoned by Biden before he takes office. Admittedly, that’s a far-fetched scenario, but Biden is old-fashioned enough to put the country ahead of his own bitter feelings after a loss.”
Nice fairy tales today.
This is the same man who for decades smeared an innocent man as a drunk driver when it was his wife's inattention that caused the accident.
That is possibly the dumbest statement I have heard today. And I listened to part of the Morning Show.
What?! Have you not been paying attention? Biden is and always has been a mean, vindictive, malicious, nasty individual. He has NEVER put the country first over his own perceived self-interests. Biden (and/or those behind him) is the person who set all these trials into motion.
The way he's governed over the past 3 years tells me that he's not. His mind is failing, and he's being guided by Commies. He may just decided to stay in the WH beyond 1/20/25 while Trump appeals from jail.
Apparently, you are having a bad day. Did you break the rule about posting before the morning coffee fully kicks in? Honestly, I don't believe there is one bit of evidence to suggest that Biden is anything but vindictive.
I have “heard” that a president cannot pardon himself for state crimes; however, it is utterly inconceivable that an elected president would be held in jail due to his need to receive classified briefings, and otherwise carry out all the duties of his office. I think the Supes would have to intervene.
AFAIK, Sloe Joe has NEVER put the “country ahead of his own bitter feelings.”
There is no authority for pardoning state convictions - and there are criminal cases pending in both Georgia and New York. The governors would have to do that - Kemp might, but Hochul - I’m not seeing where she does that.
