Newly-released transcripts of secret testimony at the January 6 Committee show that a witness testified then-President Donald Trump had not wrestled with a Secret Service agent, and had indeed requested troops to protect the Capitol.
The transcript of a closed-door interview with Deputy Chief of Staff Anthony Ornato and then-Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) on January 28, 2022, was hidden by the committee, as it played up sensational claims that the testimony refuted.
In particular, Cheney boosted the accusations by former Trump aide Cassidy Hutchinson, who claimed publicly — and to great media fanfare — that Trump had tried to commandeer his presidential vehicle to drive to the Capitol riot.

Now we know why they are so desperate to get Peter Navarro in prison. They know this is falling apart but they have to get their punishment to warn anyone who would work in a Trump administration.
So if this is true, what will be the consequences?
I'm sure the gal who lied did it in a way they she cannot be charged with perjury - she had pro bono top notch Democrat operative lawyers.

We knew all this, years ago. We are being led around by our noses. This is used to distract the Right and keep us irrelevant.
The girl who lied about this testified that she was told about it by some White House person, I forget who. So she has the defense of just passing on what she was told.

History shows they will get raises amd promotions. The sacrificial lambs will get high paid jobs with lobbies or leftist institutions.

She presented HEARSAY testimony.
NOT EVEN JUDGE JUDY WILL ACCEPT THAT.
It also,exposes Liz and kinzingers as a liars and as folks who bear false witness agaisnt others in order to try to destroy them
Which makes our government very dangerous as we clearly do not have checks or balances for this type of corruption.
Cannot wait until Kinzinger pops up crying that this is a lie…Trump is guilty as Hell. In a just world Adam’s head would be on a pike traveling from State to State GOP Offices and after that, a display for all the County GOP Offices around the Nation.
It is true. The long-suppressed transcripts that have only now been released prove it conclusively. As for consequences, there won't be any ever.
