What's it gonna take for people around here to come around to thinking that maybe it's them who are not "Republicans"? Maybe Ken Buck is exactly what the Republicans are today? Seems to me that there's a lot of explanatory power in such a conclusion.

Well to be honest with you FRiend, I ain’t a republican any longer either. Haven’t been for years and years. I have always “had” to vote for republicans because they were closer to what I believed than the communists in control of the former Dimocrat party. I am one of those dreaded conservative independents. I left the party back after Daddy Bush pulled his no tax crap. That did it for me. I held my nose with two fingers up my nostrils when I had to vote for him against that pervert Slick Willie and his crud of a wife. I am sick of the republican party RINOs and the limped winnies that are supposed to be republican conservatives. I am from Alabama and have a representative in my district in congress named Mike Rogers. Rogers is a big man around here in Calhoun county and surrounds counties in his district. However, I never see his face on the TV. I never read that he is leading the way on any damned thing. He has never put out a meaning piece of legislation I am aware of. He never speaking out for the military and support of the troops or for Israel. He might do, but since we don’t have a decent newspaper in these counties beside the Anniston “Red” Star owned by the NY Slimes, we don’t get very good coverage of even local politics. But I am sick of republicans!! Period!!
