If you want a summary it's that paganism is here and it's going to get brutal and there isn't a political solution. Christians will be facing the same threats and ideologies the early church faced and they need to be prepared. It is our calling to resist this evil even as we cannot eradicate it. This will require the true saving faith in Christ that brings us hope and perseverence.

America is supposed to transform to the Second Beast of Revelations, compelling the world to fall in line and serve the First Beast.
Our consolation is that time will be short and the Second Coming is t the end.
Anyone remember Miss Cleo?
It is an excellent piece.
However, I would remove the βAs We Know Itβ from the headline and end the headline at βCountryβ.
There is a political solution, but it would take a Christian nationalist dictatorship, a Charlemagne. It would still be the end of America.
And some here don’t mind having a Hindu as VP.
I’m a practicing pagan.
I take issue with the conclusions presented.

The 60s were a high point of new age paganism in California. Christianity seems to have survived that.
The more real threat is the mass importation by the millions of Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism thanks to our immigration policy since 1965.
Unlike American hedonism masquerading as paganism, those are real religions with centuries of rivalry to Christianity. And our business and political elites will happily replace Christian culture with them.
In the alternative, I think that Christians should recognize that they must develop and embrace a new apologetic that engages with the beliefs of the modern world. People who regard themselves as "spiritual but not religious" should be seen as potential converts, not as new pagans intent on destroying the Christian faith.
In addition, Christians need to understand and explain the implications of modern physics in finding that consciousness is real and integral to material existence. I am astonished that organized Christianity is near oblivious to this and that it makes the supernatural, the paranormal, and even Christianity plausible.
A world in which the soul, life after death, ghosts, angels and demons, and God as universal consciousness are real is a world that can also accommodate the story of Jesus Christ and Christian religious faith as true and the Christian virtues as valid. Simple fundamentalism and reliance on the Bible alone will not do.

And yet some still can’t see it happening. SMH

2 Peter 3:2-10
King James Version
2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
