Zelensky: Ukraine needs 25 Patriot air defense systems to cover the country

President Volodymyr Zelensky, in an interview with national television on April 6, called on international partners to provide Ukraine with modern air defense systems to defend against Russian attacks.

Russian troops have intensified their attacks during the spring, mainly targeting energy and civilian infrastructure. According to Ukraine's Interior Ministry, Russia has conducted around 30,000 strikes on Ukrainian territory in 2024.

As Moscow increased its attacks, the shortage of air defense systems in Ukraine became more tangible, particularly in the territories proximate to the front line.

"I will not tell you how many Patriot systems we have. I can say that to cover Ukraine completely in the future, it is preferable to have 25 Patriot systems, with 6-8 batteries each," Zelensky said.

Why not send all we have to him? He’d blow through that 50% in no time. The Zeepers here and in DC have told me that once the collapse of Ukraine is complete, the Russian Menace will quickly spread to all of Europe. What will protect those American boys fighting the Russians at the gates of Paris, Rome and Brussels this summer if we’ve wasted all of our Patriots on Z?

Russia's supposed drop in production and sanctions, which not all nations will obey, is NOTHING compared with the complete collapse of the Ukrainian economy, the death and departure (refugee) of their able-bodied workforce, and the destruction of their electrical grid along with anything plugged into it.

In the General/Chat forum, on a thread titled Three Men Charged With Running Hawala Scheme Responsible For Illicitly Moving More Than $65 Million Between The United States And The Middle East, GOPJ wrote:
We are paying to sustain Ukraine’s critical healthcare services, meet its pension responsibilities for 9.8 million people, assist 1.3 million internally displaced persons, provide housing assistance to 4.1 million people, and provide social assistance to 240,000 low-income families and 480,000 persons with disabilities.

We subsidize Ukraine’s small businesses, buy seeds and fertilizer for Ukrainian farmers and fund divers who clear unexploded ammunition from the country’s rivers to make them safe again for swimming and fishing.

Americans pay to secure Ukraine’s borders while millions of welfare seeking barbarians and terrorists flood through ours.

We're being taken to the cleaners...

According to this OP, an increasing number of cities are becoming unlivable with permanent damage to power generating systems and all the infrastructure, electronics and basics (heat, light and water).

There is no comparison. If the public understood that the United States provides the economy for the Ukraine, more would realize the Ukraine lost the war long ago and they are being propped up as puppets "Save the Ukraine!" when there's no chance of winning.Excerpted:

NATO/Zelensky/Biden are willing to let all of the Ukraine burn and conscript her people (aged 15 to 70, including the disabled) to die in trenches with insufficient weapons. The criminals here are those controlling NATO's elite superpowers and using the Ukrainian citizens as sacrificial chess pieces on a blood-soaked chessboard.

Trump already said the Ukraine is among the most corrupt regions in the world. He knows NATO is controlling the conflict. We know his opinion of NATO. He knows about the Biden Regime money laundering business there, that it's the center of Deep State activity, and that Zelensky is controlled and corrupt. Trump recalls that he asked Zelensky to investigate the Biden mess there, and Zelensky refused. Trump knows about the lack of accountability for the billions we sent. No. Trump doesn't think loaning them money is a good idea.

He's trolling....

The FAB glide bombs are coming for the Z-man.

The Russians have the FAB-500, FAB-1000, FAB-1500 and FAB-3000 guided glide bombs. Those numbers are in kilograms so the FAB-500 has 1100 pounds of high explosive fyi. They have a standoff range of 40 miles and the these bombs leave a big crater wherever they hit. Therefore more inexpensive than a Patriot missile and they’re changing the face of the front and giving the Russians a huge advantage.

I think Trump is also making the point that Ukraine could be re-armed right now. Just as Israel got a big arms shipment in December, on a promise to pay in future.

The point of this is, DC drama over Ukraine funding is WWE fake. They could send cluster munitions 155mm and land mines, of which they have millions in inventory.

But they don’t because they want to have this fake fight over funding.

The Regime knows that Ukraine will lose, they have written them off, so the last part of this is to keep them going thru the election, then blame Trump for “losing” Ukraine.

I’m starting to think that Zelensky is BEING PAID by either Putin or She to clean out the West of their weapons, so that they could then rule the planet unchallenged.

Total Patriot individual missile production is 550 PER YEAR !

Which they are raising to 650. That’s almost two missiles per day !

https://www.defensenews.com/land/2023/12/13/ukraine-mideast-conflicts-place-renewed-pressure-on-patriot-units/

This is a joke. The USA MIC is hopeless, and incapable of supplying for a sustained war.

Cost:
“a newly produced PATRIOT battery costs about $1.1 billion, including about $400 million for the system and about $690 million for the missiles” 2024.

So 25 of them....

Alternative:
Let A Smile Be Your Umbrella
Sung by Bing Crosby in 1957 (many other versions)🎼😁

Just let a smile be your umbrella,
On a rainy, rainy day
And if your sweetie cries, just tell her,
That a smile will always pay

Whenever skies are gray,
Don`t you worry or fret,
A smile will bring the sunshine,
And you`ll never get wet!

So, let a smile be your umbrella,
On a rainy, rainy day

I think the lead time for Patriots is 5 to 7 years (as Taiwan is now learning the hard way), so Zelensky is more than welcome to take his place, in line.

The MIC began as a vital necessity, became a source of pride and strength, and has devolved into a racket and a farce. If America is going to go down the path of World War III then it had better get serious about turning to new companies for weapons. I wonder if Elon Musk is doing anything lately?

I think you mean WEF, not WWE. WEF is that disgusting World Economic Forum.

WWE is some kind of wrestling organization. Nice if they. decked that disgusting Klaus Schwab and equally awful Bill Gates.
