Never Say Never-Trump: Biden leaves GOP moderates with 'no alternative' but to back former president
Fox News ^ | 4/7/24 | Julia Johnson

Some Republicans who said they would never support former President Donald Trump again appear poised to do just that come November, as they feel President Biden's policies and leadership cannot be allowed a second term.

"It is not an enthusiastic vote," Eric Levine, a former Nikki Haley supporter, told Fox News Digital in an interview. "I am left with no alternative."

Levine, a prominent Republican fundraiser, penned an essay to his vast network of fellow GOP donors and activists last week, informing them that despite his initial resolve after the Jan. 6 Capitol riots to "never" support Trump again, he would be doing just that.

He led his memo by writing, "The adage of ‘never say never’ is a wise one."

GOP strategist John Feehery said it will depend "how horrified they are by Biden’s policies" whether "never-Trump" Republicans return to him.

This was the case for Levine. He described his decision-making process as such: "I think it was more that I'm so offended by Biden. What am I going to do?"

A not-so-enthusiastic choice will turn into a very enthusiastic one as the election nears and people see just how bankrupt and dangerous the Democrats are.

The Democrats are going to go nuclear in this election (if they even permit the election to happen). Things are going to get crazy.

Not sure what the dems are going to promote in an effort to
get Biden re-elected but they’ll spend a lot money in the
effort. Help the economy to some degree I’d assume.

“Trump is the moderate choice.”

Trump is the choice because of his promise to uphold the constitution, which he kept in 2016-2020.

Haley and DeSantis sat and sit back silently while hoping for President Trump to be imprisoned as the Deep State executes their lawfare against an innocent man and great POTUS.

If anyone supports those two proven conniving traitors to this nation then, just like you most likely did last time, go vote again for anti-American anti-Christian Biden. You’ll be right at home and where you belong.

No amount of your or their amoralizations will fool patriots.

God bless President Trump, his family and loved ones, this nation and the whole world. Amen.

“It is not an enthusiastic vote,”

It is definitely not for those of us on the right to be stuck with trash voters either, you pieces of ‘GOP moderates’ trash otherwise known as GOPe/uniparty/republicrats/deep state/debt junkies who brought this country to it’s knees ‘compromising’ all the way.

[Gunner Ramer, Republican Accountability PAC political director, called it “disappointing yet unsurprising” to see a “member of the GOP elite” cowering and supporting Trump, in reference to Levine.]

This guy can’t come to terms with the fact that it always comes down to the lesser of two evils. Biden has made himself the greater of two evils by a country mile, and that is reflected in the polls. Where Biden was consistently polling ahead by an average of 10 points in 2020, he is now either only slightly ahead or slightly behind. Near election day in 2020, he averaged 8 points ahead. He only won by 4.

Biden is in deep trouble. And this is without the Saudi Crown Prince trying to take gasoline to $6 a gallon to make sure Biden stays down in the polls all the way to election day. Trashing oil prices was how the Saudis helped Reagan take down Russia’s Evil Empire. Spiking oil prices may help take down the Democrat party so the adults in the room can finally solve the Iran problem once and for all.

https://nypost.com/2022/03/09/biden-should-learn-from-reagan-how-economic-warfare-is-done/
[At one of their first one-on-one meetings, Reagan asked Gorbachev why the Soviet Union hadn’t paid for a recent purchase of American grain. Gorbachev was immediately testy: “You can tell [American farmers] that the money with which the Russians could have bought grain ended up in the United States and Saudi Arabia because of the sharp drop in oil prices.” Reagan calmly replied: “The oil business in the United States suffered greatly from the drop in oil prices. Many countries suffered because of the OPEC actions.” Gorbachev shot back: “We know that. We know who began this process of cutting oil prices and whose interests it is in.”

It was a remarkable admission by Gorbachev that Reagan’s deliberate campaign of economic warfare against the Soviet Union was working. The key role of oil prices is once again salient as the United States and its allies have declared a new campaign of economic warfare against Russia — and there are several parallels between that earlier policy and today.

Reagan decided to step up economic pressure against the Soviet Union in the aftermath of the Soviet-directed martial law imposed on Poland (a proxy invasion, so to speak) at the end of 1981. Now we have Russia invading Ukraine. Among the measures Reagan sought was an end to a Soviet natural-gas pipeline to Western Europe — shades of Nord Stream 2 today — though he only managed to delay its completion.

But by far the biggest factor in Reagan’s campaign to cripple the Soviet economy was engineering a drop in oil prices. Between 1981 and 1986, the price of oil fell from around $35 a barrel to $14. “Overnight,” one energy expert wrote, “the windfall oil and dollar profits the Soviets had been enjoying were wiped out.”

How did Reagan help bring about this decline in oil prices (which also boosted the American economy)?

First, he encouraged domestic oil and gas production by removing the last price controls on oil and gas markets. Domestic oil production increased in the United States for the first time in more than a decade — and it wouldn’t happen again until the fracking revolution of the last decade.

But second, and more relevant to our moment, Reagan quietly and successfully persuaded Saudi Arabia and other friendly Persian Gulf producers to increase their oil output to lower the world price. To get this bargain, Reagan undoubtedly offered security guarantees as well as arms sales and other matters of interest to Gulf states.]

What Trump deserves is irrelevant.

What does America Deserve? Also irrelevant.

What is relevant is raw political power. What we have learned is that raw political power is inadequate unless it is beefed up with criminal distortion of the constitutional mandates. Political enemies muwst now be destroyed and not tolerated

Exactly the choice RINOs gave us since Eisenhower, with the exception of Reagan, and they hated him and mocked him mercilessly.

They have picked a side. And it is not yours. Given a choice between President Trump and Joe Biden, the Moderate GOPers will choose Joe Biden every time. The Election of 2020 must not have taught you anything. President Trump is hated among professional politicians and Moderate Republicans over everything in the universe.
