It got so bad that Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy went on a 3-plus-minute tirade on X. Portnoy wanted Clark’s predecessors to give the Iowa star “her flowers.” From Diana Taurasi to Breanna Stewart, all were slamming Clark. Portnoy’s remarks were simple: no one watched women’s basketball when these two were playing, and now that some attention is being offered, thanks in part to Clark and others, the ladies of old are trashing her.

I’m not sure Caitlin will make it in WNBA. Her fellow teammates, on whichever team she joins, will want to shank her because she’s white and straight.

My suggestion is she stay in college 2 more years (I believe she’s in her 4th year and with the 2020 covid rule, she can stay in 6 years) and get as much NIL as she can from State Farm or anybody else. She can invest that and live on a budget and be better off than the WNBA hags that need seed money from the NBA.
They might. But the coach of SC was very complimentary about Clark. I hope her future WNBA teammates are as wise. I'll leave it at that though.

With the weird, colored braids, lipstick and paint brush eyelashes, the SC players looked like they were headed for a rap concert.
I once stupidly said that when Tiger Woods left Stanford after only two years to join the PGA, he should have stayed in school and gotten a degree first......LOL!
If I was a trans gendered guy/woman, I would be afraid to mess with the SC squad. It wouldn’t be a fair fight.
I hope she takes the 10 game deal & whatever can follow it & that she ignores the WNBA.
So far, the WNBA is exciting as watching paint dry & she shoulnd’t try to “help” them.
Clark is a refreshing change to women’s basketball, not only because she is so great, but because of the “other” obvious reasons.
