The thing that gives me some pause is only 19 Rs were opposed along with all Ds. Is it possible the choice was this or something worse and now we’re are going to get the other options rammed through?
How about a LOT of reforms AND if the FBI wants this so bad, how about they provide the information that they have been stonewalling on, like how many FBI were undercover at the Jan 6 event for starters, and then maybe a few 100 more things they've withheld.

They have been used for NOTHING but political revenge virtually from their inceptions. Make one specious and unfounded claim “foreign entities” are involved and your American hating, deep state judicial system takes off running to nab one more conservative. Let it lapse, then build something from the ground up, if that is even possible with today’s politics. What judge is willing to cross the 3-letter agencies that have 6 ways from Sunday to destroy you. Maybe “from the ground up” needs to include the FBI/CIA...
