We can deal with this though (we have better missiles, better drones, better jamming, we even have Star Wars like lasers...). But once US troops are in the ground some place, things will change. That’s when we start to bleed. And eventually we will get sucked into this somehow.

I wish not great death on the Iranian people. Most hate the Mullahs in control. I wish the destruction of their ability to sell oil and thus their economic collapse. Oil infrastructure is very vulnerable and easily taken out. Israel could do it easily. Hit the pumping stations, the storage tanks, export depots as in Kharg Island, and let the burning oil do the rest.

I lived in Iran as a kid. They are not bad people and most are pro western. They are a suppressed people by a theocratic despotic dictatorship. Those at the top need to die. If Iran is every free, those that were suppressed, tortured and some murdered will kill those at the top. Those at the top know this. That is why they are brutal to their own people. They fear them.
Israel will eventually have to stop these mass rocket launches with nukes if conventional defenses run out. And they will because they will not let thousands of their citizens be wiped out and sit by without any response.

Israels Iron Dome was designed to use cheap interceptors - we are talking $100K each, not millions. The downside is range, its more of a point defense system. But its rather compact and should probably be quite easy to “navalize”.
Its surprising the Israelis havent sold more.
As to the rest of your comment, the one system in common across some of the recent wars and threats is Patriot PAC-3. Israel has PAC-2, intended mainly for antimissile use, but its being replaced by the Israeli Davids Sling. The Red Sea troubles have used Naval systems, not used in Ukraine or by Israel. Other interceptions in the Israel attack have been by US, Jordanian and Saudi (and probsbly Israeli) manned aircraft using AAMs.
So its quite a diverse lot of missiles, not stressing any one “pool” of ammo, yet.
The other downside of Iron Dome it its not designed to intercept high speed missiles.
