Israel has decided to hit Iran “clearly and forcefully” and is already preparing its warplanes to carry out the strike, according to a report on Monday.
The reported decision comes after two war cabinet meetings in which leaders of the Jewish nation debated how to respond to Saturday’s barrage of 350 suicide drones and missiles.
Israel’s Channel 12 news carried the report — which was widely picked up in local media.
Channel 12 said the country’s air force — which includes US-made F-16, F-15 and F-35 fighter jets — is already gearing up to deliver a retaliatory counter-strike against the rogue Islamic nation, though no timeline was provided.
According to the report, the strike will be intended as a message that Israel “will not allow an attack of that magnitude against it to pass without a reaction.”

and gas over 7 a gallon. Thank you Jesus and Joe Biden.
Maybe the Saudi’s since they have a small understanding and Saudi’s are at war with Iran in Yemen? Just a thought.
The modified F-35s have been working over Hamas and Hezbollah for months now, even striking Damascus, Syria.
Iran keeps its missiles and drones in underground storage
Exactly where did this intel come from?

The IDF.
1. Kill enough civilians so that the Iran population learns that attacking Israel is unhealthy.
—
Iran’s population has no say in what the Mad Mullahs and the IRGC decides to strike. The people are forced to chant by the mullahs or face severe punishment, imprisonment, or death. Any dead civilians or troops are considered martyrs to Islam - a good thing in the regime’s eyes. If fact, the more the better.
>> Are they hoping that US troops will do it for them like we
>> always do?
When was the last time US troops actually had boots on the ground for (((them)))? WWII? [/sarcasm]
The IDF of yesteryear would have completely eliminated Hamas by now. They have lost their gusto.

If you had any idea of how difficult an urban operation is, you’d take that back. Every pile of rubble has a weapons cache, every pillow case in a hospital has guns and ammo, parks conceal under ground missile launch tubes, etc. Not to mention the hundreds miles of tunnels, one running the length of Gaza with branches everywhere, openings everywhere.
(I imagine Instant Jihad would BE upon you
😆)
😂😆😅🤣😜
Interesting map. But I would note the absence of Kharg Island. Critical oil terminal. Destroyed by Iraq in ‘88 but now rebuilt (mostly).
Exactly where did this intel come from?
The article states, "Israeli leaders also hope the response will not spark a wider war, the unsourced report said."
Does the Israeli navy have SSN or SSBNs?

Well, the war of 1870 was declared by France, which didn’t want a competitor in mainland Europe, and the ones of 1864 and 1866 were caused by tensions with Denmark and Austria, respectively.
WW 1 was caused by many factors, and all peace offers by the Central powers were roundly rejected by the Entente. Greed conquers all.
And please don‘t mention that propaganda canard of Germany being founded in 1870. Be so kind.
She was founded in 962 with the coronation of Otto I., the first German emperor, after his victory over the Magyar invaders, no matter what the skillful, but false propaganda of (presumably) the World War eras has been telling you.
History is written by the victors, after all. Always has been, always will be. Amen.
Yep. England and France couldn’t handle the fact that there was a ‘new kid on the block’ in Europe.
France’s alliance with Russia is what caused WWI to blow up. It should have just been between Germany, Austria and Russia.
Dolphin 2 class
Yes, but the best outcome would have been that an international solution to the entire crisis should have been found.
Still, what would have become of Poland? Westminster had actually promised „home rule“ to the Irish in 1914, so it seems to me that the Irish problem would have evaporated out of its own accord.
But the Poles? In 1914, they were the largest European people with no polity of their own… :-(
Piłsudski would have had something to say about it, one way or the other.
Certainly he would.
Of course, hindsight is always 20/20, but I have no clue how dire the situation of the Poles was in „Congress Poland“ in the years before 1914, nor in Austria- Hungary. In Germany, there was a strong opposition on part of the Poles in Poznania and West Prussia, less so in Upper Silesia - and little or none on part of the Mazurs, who were…Protestants, just like the Prussians of German ethnicity.
There was a similar situation with the Lithuanian-speaking people in the Memel area, since they were Protestants, too. Unlike the Lithuanians of Lithuania proper.
Political and ethnic loyalties are sometimes two different kettles of fish, often religion is an important factor; just look at Northern Ireland or the little Southern Jura region in Switzerland, where there were conflicts between Catholics and Protestants not so long ago…
Thanks.
Should do the trick w/o flying over potentially a hazardous environment.
