Michael Cohen called former President Trump’s complaints about potentially missing his son’s high school graduation due to his presence at the New York criminal hush money trial “comical.”
“I find it not just comical, right but I find it I find it insulting that that’s the big issue,” Cohen said on the MeidasTouch “Political Beatdown” podcast, noting that he had to miss major life events while he was serving time in prison.
Trump has taken aim at Judge Juan Merchan in recent days, suggesting that the New York judge might not allow him to attend his son Barron’s high school graduation in May. Merchan has delayed his decision on the matter but has not outright denied granting the former president the ability to attend the event.
Merchan did deny a request by Trump to be in Washington, D.C. next week for Supreme Court oral arguments involving a matter of president immunity that Trump is claiming in other federal criminal cases.

I'm there already, he's a shady POS and I am shocked Trump would have anything to do with him but I'm guessing there are slimy people in NYC (i.e. politicians and unions and mobsters ... all the same thing, ultimately) that have to be dealt with to get construction stuff done and slimy lawyer is the right guy to facilitate. But slimy people are slimy and it is very believable that he hatched a plan to blackmail his client for nothing. I mean, he paid her out of his own pocket? What? Always a fishy story from this guy from day 1.

Cohen states that he was unaware of Trump ever attending any of his children’s graduations. That was a lawyeresque statement that basically said nothing definitive. The media and Trump haters took the bait and ran with it blasting stories about how Trump never went to his children’s graduations. About 30 seconds of online research finds that at a minimum, Trump attended he daughter Ivanka’s graduation, actually arriving in a limo.
