Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) ripped into the pro-Palestinian protests roiling college campuses, calling the encampment demonstrations “pup tents” for the militant group Hamas.
“Now, of course, it’s a great American value to protest, but I don’t believe living in a pup tent for Hamas is really helpful,” Fetterman said in an interview on NewsNation’s “The Hill Sunday.”
Protests calling for a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza and a halt in U.S. military aid to Israel have persisted for more than a week at a swath of college campuses across the country. Some protesters — including those at Columbia University, where the recent wave of demonstrations began — set up encampments on campus in defiance of school administrators. Several schools called in local and state police to disperse the protests and encampments, leading to the arrest and suspension of hundreds of students across the country.
“I will say this, that it’s very clear, there is a very germ of antisemitism in all of these protests. And then sometimes, it flares up and again,” Fetterman added.
The universities are going to have to realize that it's a bad deal for them to continue tolerating pro-hamas protests.
Liberal Jews will stop donating.
Many potential students will realize that Ivy League schools are too radical for them so they'll go elsewhere to get their education.
College campuses are, for sure. So are much of America’s court systems in liberal states and cities.

Once again Fetterman surprises on the up-side. Yes, he’s a Democrat, and he will vote the party line in the Senate. But he’s standing tall on supporting Israel and calling out antisemitism. He has also criticized Biden’s open-border policies.
Hmm. Perhaps he’ll vote for Trump in November.

The tents are many and the same. Pre planned by the democrats and sorts groups.
He’s turning out to be what was known as a “traditional Democrat” when the party used to include both more conservative “blue dog” types and the radical leftists like Ded Kennedy. I’d be hard pressed to identify another one...
Fetterman is getting things right about as often as Linda Graham and other “conservative” these days.

You can bet EVERYTHING is bought and paid for - they don’t have a clue what they are protesting for or against but they know cold, hard cash when they see it - even temporary housing in a tent...
