Yeah, ripped off again, but I got plenty of light shows online over the weekend, especially last night.
Based on the forecast, there’ll be more chances for those light shows the next several days. That stretch from TX to MN isn’t getting a break just yet.

Gotta pay attention. You don’t want to miss out on chances to relax on the patio while the weather’s still nice. LOL

I’m outta here. Get the cat stuff done and hit the pillows that are calling my name. It’s been a long day and the sound of the rain also lulling me to sleep.

Catch ya tomorrow for the quiz.

Yep and it's even worse in other places like Sulphur for example. You've probably seen all the news stories about this. Some National media outlets sent reporters to cover it.

We'll see what happens the next few days. Hopefully not as bad as it was this past weekend.

OOF!! Too hot there! Thankfully, it’s not nearly as hot here. Partly cloudy and 77 at the moment. Last night’s pounding rain left 2 inches in the rain gauge.

Yes, it’s 92 right now. Bah! And the AC is going strong. Up goes the electricity bills!

77 sounds just perfect! And 2 inches of rain?? Wow! I’m sooooo jealous!

It sounds like summer’s making an early appearance down there. Ugh! We’ll have low to upper 80s the next week, which is a little above normal but not too bad. They did take rain out of the forecast for tomorrow and Thursday but Friday looks to be messy.

I was surprised when I emptied the rain gauge this afternoon. That was a lot more than I expected. No wonder the corn made a noticeable jump overnight.

I thought about opening a couple of windows until I stepped outside. Nope. Immediate sneeze.

OH! My ship (USS PELELIU) was ported there! I served on her from ‘93 - ‘97.
