Democratic governor Kathy Hochul was forced to issue a groveling apology after she suggested that black children in New York do not know what computers are.
Hochul spoke in California at the Milken Institute Global Conference on Monday, claiming she would enable a more diverse tech workforce.
During her speech, the out-of-touch Democrat declared, “Right now we have, you know, young black kids growing up in the Bronx who don’t even know what the word ‘computer’ is.”
“They don’t know, they don’t know these things. And I want the world opened up to all of them,” she added.

Following a massive backlash, Hochul attempted to retract the remarks, saying, “I misspoke, and I regret it.”
“Of course, Black children in the Bronx know what computers are.”
They all have their faces glued to smartphones all day long.
I think they know what a computer is.

It is not just young “black kids” but the entire generation that have been set up to fail because they have not been given an education but an indoctrination.
Pretty sure that is both racist and condescending . . .
It’s the Democrat mindset. They are the party that created Jim Crow. The are the party that created the KKK. They are the party that kept the black Americans in slavery.
They have never ‘progressed’ beyond that way of thinking.
The elite Dems still believe that black Americans are living in shanty towns and using outhouses. They never got past the Civil Rights era.
The Black Democrats at the top will not disabuse the White Democrats of their notions because it puts grift in their pockets............................

People that support these things are basically stating out loud that blacks are an inferior race to whites and cannot possibly compete with them on a level playig field.
But they all have cell phones which are pretty much little computers these days. Of course, they probably got them free from the government.
