UNITED NATIONS AGENDA 21 COMES TO TEXAS TEXTBOOKS

United Nations Agenda 21 comes to Texas Textbooks
(Hearings in Austin, Sept 6)

"Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound reorientation of all human society, unlike anything the world has ever experienced - a major shift in the priorities of both governments and individuals and an unprecedented redeployment of human and financial resources." Daniel Sizarz, Editor of the UN-approved abridged version of Agenda 21”

For those of you not familiar with this global socialists' agenda briefly it is an official adopted agenda by the UN and signed on to by the United States. It seeks to control every aspect of our lives from where we live to what we think to what we hear, all under the auspices of “saving the planet.” Brilliant plan if you support global governance and adhere to socialism. This is not a conspiracy theory folks – it’s a conspiracy all right but it’s no theory. Check it out here: Agenda21text

Implementation has been in process for a number of years. In the United States, the “programme” is called the “Presidents Council on Sustainable Development.” In other countries the “programmes” have different names. The UN keeps a chart of where each nation is in the implementation process.

And most important to the “programme” of course, is educating our children so that when the time comes (if it hasn’t already) they will not only accept socialism but embrace it in it’s new world government form in lieu of our national sovereignty. Check the education section under the above link – you will be appalled.

Now look at the textbook review links for textbooks proposed for adoption NOW in the state of Texas. It doesn’t take long to see that the curriculum matches the UN marching orders. This is nothing new. Many have even been aware that Agenda 21 was infiltrating our textbooks but it just wasn’t bad enough for people to take action. Well it is time for action NOW, if it isn’t too late. The agenda is so obvious in the textbooks reviewed that it is not even arguable.

If these textbooks are adopted by the Texas State Board of Education(SBOE) your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews will not only NOT resist socialism they will embrace it as the only way to “sustain” the earth.(And Texas orders so many textbooks that publishers look to Texas to determine what they offer other states.)

Oh yes, and the "profound reorientation" referred to above includes managing sexual behavior, population growth etc. A link in one of the textbooks takes the child to a listing of “Non-governmental organization” links and governmental links including the United Nations and Agenda 21. The first link is one of which is called Youth Action. Under the guise of environmental teaching this website teaches sexual education the way the UN wants it taught.

I might also point out (that while I can’t confirm this for ALL the NGOs listed) many of these so called “non-profit” environmental groups get money from the EPA or money laundering “non-profit” agencies. I’ve traced the money on a couple of them.

Now, the question becomes, even if we rid these books of this UN trash and we still have web site links how do we insure the information taught our children conforms to state law? We don’t and that is something that also needs change in the process.

What about State Law? State law doesn’t seem to be worth a flip. Why? Look at what the Texas Education Code says about factual errors and conforming curriculum. Chap. 31.002 requires the SBOE to adopt rules to provide for a full and complete investigation of textbooks for each subject. If you choose to read these reviews you will ask yourself how complete has the investigation been. In addition, state law requires that publishers’ or manufacturers’ offers in the state must be free of factual errors. This obviously didn’t happen.

Chap. 29.002 also states that the SBOE and each school district shall foster the continuation of the tradition of teaching the United States and Texas history and the free enterprise system. It goes on to say that a primary purpose of public school curriculum is to prepare thoughtful, active citizens who understand the importance of patriotism and can function productively in a free enterprise society with appreciation for the basic democratic values of our state and national heritage.

Sound like something from 100 years ago? That’s because IT IS NOT being implemented and hasn’t been for years. Quite the contrary. To paraphrase, the Addison Wesley textbooks tell students that the main reason for starving people is the free enterprise system and part of the reason are advancements in technology.

The text goes on. What worldview do you think a future voter will hold if he buys into these two causes as being the causes of world starvation? What sort of elected officials do you think he would vote for? And, is this Environmental Science? Or is it more “Worldview Indoctrination”?

And this is what my taxpayer dollars go to – to fund green organizations, non-governmental organizations and the United Nations to brainwash our kids??? I wonder how many of my dollars have been spent and how many years taxpayers have been paying the salaries of eco-terrorists who would subvert our national sovereignty and set the stage for “profound reorientation” of our minds? No Telling.

No folks this is not black helicopter stuff - it’s real! And it is not even very cleverly disguised. Read the reviews for yourself. These four textbooks alone have more than 90 plus pages of errors. Individual reviewers have found more.

Websites at which you can read the reports on four science textbooks follows.

The TEA and the SBOE have consented now to take a “vote” to see if they will let testimony occur.. This will happen the morning of Thursday 6th. The “deadline” occurred over a month ago. You see the “notification” process is carefully crafted to meet the requirements of law but somehow ordinary citizens don’t get notified.

Please, if you can testify, read the links. No guarantees, depending on the “vote” to let us private citizens be heard but at least come and show you support by taking back our education agenda from un-elected bureaucrats and non-governmental organizations.

The State board of Education does have some authority left and that includes voting to scrap these textbooks and start over. There needs to be fair and open public participation and adherence to the Texas Education Code with respect to required curriculum –not with respect to the United Nations Agenda or that of corrupt elected officials.

And one more fairly major point – textbook publisher “write to” Texas and California because we are the largest consumers of textbooks. If we can get this trash trashed in Texas, it will potentially impact every textbook sold in the nation! Now that is getting a big bang for your buck.

Come on Texas FReepers – we need a show of support for OUR laws, OUR sovereignty, and the allocation of OUR tax dollars.

SHOW UP!!!!!!

Thursday September 6th 2001 State Board of Education - Room 1-104 William B. Travis Building 1701 North Congress Avenue Austin, TX

I am afraid I can't make it to Austin but you guys (and girls) give 'em heck for me.

I don't know what the infatuation with the UN is, but it is here to stay it looks like. I would like to see it moved to Geneva or the dark side of the moon - but that will never happen I am afraid.

Yes it can happen, that is if we get a large contingency and go protest them. We could get on the news and make a big fuss. How about it???? The Leftists do - and get heard.

I'm not buying it! Yes, Texas and California are huge states, but the remaining 48 states buy more books collectively than either one.

It's true for grades 1-12. Because the purchases of CA and TX are so large (and guaranteed once the book is approved) the publishers don't bother producing alternate books. TX and CA provide the "base" and all of the other states are required to choose whatever books those states have selected because no alternate texts are produced.

TX and CA choose books in alternate years (about a 4 year cycle, i.e: TX-2001, CA-2003, TX-2005). They may choose different books, and other states can buy whichever books either of those states chooses. The publishers produce several different sample books to take to a publisher's book fair where the book committees look them over and choose the text books for their state. Any book not chosen is scrapped -- it doesn't matter how much some people liked it. If it is not chosen by the powerful book committee of either TX or CA, it is not published. The only difference would be that private schools are free to choose their books from smaller publishers, such as Open Court. Private and parochial schools are not constrained to use the choices of the state book committees.

The advantage that the people of TX have is that there are regular citizens on their book committee. It is not dominated by NEA propagandists.

My information comes from my daughter and son-in-law who are in the textbook publishing business.

Would you agree at least that our Constitution and free enterprise system should not be attacked in our children's textbooks with OUR taxdollars?

In one sense I agree: It is not good for the United States if the textbooks of the public schools are filled with negative Propaganda against the United States.

But I am against the entire concept of organization that creates that situation. I am on the side of the homeschoolers, to make things clearer.

"I don't believe the information in the post has anything but facts in it. If I am wrong please point it out to me."

The idea that only the enemies of so-called conservatives are using emotions to making decisions is ludicrous. I already pointed out that religious conservatives use their feelings in promoting government policy all the time! In just the same ways that so called Liberals do.

Are you disagreeing with that? Again, that is the issue I RAISED, no matter that you are the third person to change the subject in replying.

" Hypocrisy is another way to put it."

No, Ignorance is the way to put it, Yours!

Truth trumps ignorance every time, that's why you're scared and angry. Truth can only be spiritually discerned.
